Loved almost everything about our stay here. O is a great host, the grounds and the accommodation are beautiful. The availability to purchase a breakfast is great and the staff can't do enough for you. I would seriously recommend this accommodation on the riverside where there is plenty of food and proximity to the weekend walking street night market. Sincere thanks to O and her team for a beautiful stay.

The air con over the bed. Whilst typical in Thailand, it was difficult to get it just right for a good night sleep.

Kanecha's Home was a great place to stay in Lampang. On the river and so close to the white bridge which you can walk over to get to Walking Street night markets and other restaurants. Very close to supermarkets, small restaurants and Khao Soi Islam, best khao soi I have had in Thailand. The staff are lovely and the owners are so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they are full of information about Lampang. Loved our stay.

End of April, beginning of May was exceptionally hot, 39 degrees. Maybe pick another time to visit.

The property has multiple types of accommodations on the edge of the river in a garden setting. It is a quiet neighborhood, but easy walks to markets, town and restaurants. We had a ground level room with a small sitting area. Many cute cats and kittens to observe. There is a calm cabana type structure on river edge where there is coffee, some fruit and you can have your breakfast served. A nice sunset location to enjoy a beer. But, what made this special for us; was the daughter and father who own and operate the guesthouse. We arrived with injured traveler. She had a fall and was suffering from back and nerve pain. The father took us to a nearby traditional Thai doctor. He waited the hour with us, drove us to a lunch and back to guesthouse - 2 days in a row. His presence was compassionate and supportive and greatly contributed to her recovery . Our final day, he took us to airport and we felt like we were saying goodbye to a cherished family member, not a GH operator.

Great location on the river and cozy rooms beautifully decorated. The host, O, is super friendly and the place feels like staying with a family but with the privacy and amenities of a hotel. We opted for the breakfast, which was a lot and very good. There is fresh fruit, coffee/tea/water, and kitchenware available for use too. Watching the river while eating breakfast or working from the patio was so relaxing. Lampang is such a pleasant city, and this was the best place to stay, within walking distance of everything...only 5 minutes from the walking street with beautiful old houses and 15 minutes from the historic wats and city walls or in the other direction, the clock tower and modern downtown. They called a horse carriage for us and we had a magnificent time seeing the wats while enjoying the city by a unique method. We would love to return here and stay again.

Being near the river, there were a few mosquitoes outside our room but we had no issues inside. Mosquito coils were available in the dining area.

The location is right on the river within short walking distance of key attractions and a morning/night market. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room had everything we needed, including both AC and a fan, a kettle and proper hot water (which we’ve missed while doing the Mae Hong Son loop).

We were on the ground floor as we heard every movement the people upstairs made as well as their TV. The bed was hard and directly under the AC, but we only had one thin covering so it got cold quickly with the AC on.

Our room was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful, a really nice garden atmosphere overlooking the river. Close to the incredible street market and a easy walk to night market. A short walk over the bridge is a small bakery with a lovely lady running it and she makes the best coffee ☕ in Lampang 😊

Lovely little oasis in Lampang, right near the river and just very pretty. Room was great, spacious, comfy, nice amenities and fantastic bed/bedding. Room had everything we needed including great air con. Location was fantastic, easy to get to from the train station via taxi and easy to walk to everything we needed.

Very helpful and friendly owner, who advised on trips and arranged taxi bookings etc. Excellent location at the river, and very nice outdoor patio with seating and all the utensils to accommodate an all fresco picnic. Very quiet and leafy location, with teak trees growing on the grounds. The hotel cats are very cute too. We will return.

Kanecha’s home is one of our favourite places in Thailand. The host is so welcoming and warm, making us feel at home immediately. They helped give us local guidance, helped book taxis, and much more. The room is also very spacious and clean. Also at a great central location, only a few minutes walk away from both the Friday and Saturday markets. Highly recommended! Thank you so much. Hope we can come back again!

Located on the river, with breakfast area looking out to the town. Walking distance to Friday night market and old town and wats plus easy to cross to the other side of the river to see old teak houses, a few colonial houses and the street along the embankment. First time we were given a map, very helpful. Good sized room with outside seating. Parking on site
