Very nicely designed property on the edge of Nagarahole national park. Clean. Safe. Secure. Friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we had and did everything that we wanted. Shashank really made the safaris come alive and we loved his Tiny Safari one evening, exploring the property and learning about the mini-beasts. Food was great.

There was some animal noise at night but we came to be close to the animals! The food felt a little overwhelming at times. The range of dishes was amazing but just too much to eat!

It's very very difficult to walk the fine line between being a hotel and a luxury home - and this small hotel has managed to hit that sweet spot just perfectly! It's small, but feels spacious with lovely rooms. The menus are fixed (like a home) but there's a superlative variety and top quality cooking. The staff are friendly, but not over-familiar. Its totally personal but also professional. Bravo! Superbly well organized for the safaris too - we felt safe and pampered (water blankets, ponchos!) and definitely more knowledgeable thanks to the excellent naturalist who accompanied us (sorry, I'm bad with names)

A minor quibble - but there's definitely work to be done on the coffee that's served! In a state known for it's coffee, serving a watery and tasteless beverage (esp with a 5:30 am start for the safari) takes away from the high standards that this hotel has set in every other area.

A quaint property located right at the border of the national park. The forest views are stunning. Ensure you get a room overlooking the forest. The food was delicious made by chefs who are from the village. The array of dishes was an experience of its own! The best part of my stay was the staff. Kind, cordial and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. They helped me book all my safaris and made sure the entire trip was well organised.

Privacy. Since there was a large group who booked all the other rooms, I had a single instance when someone from that group walked into my room. My request to the manager is to ensure that large groups need to be made aware of their room numbers. Especially if there is a single lady traveling

Where to even start. We arrived so late after a 15 hour drive to the lodge. Divya was incredible and met us on arrival, keeping the kitchen open so we were able to enjoy dinner when we got there (which was amazing) and allowed us to check in later so we could go straight to sleep. The staff throughout the stay were amazijg and offered us activities while we spent the morning at the lodgem We took bikes and cycled through the village and to the kabini river where we saw a number of beautiful birds and cows grazing peacefully. We took a boat safari and two land safaris where we saw tigers and elephants. Sujith was an incredible guide. It was beautiful to see the passion , knowledge and respect that the staff had for the wild animals which is exactly what you want to see when going to a reserve . Another thank you to Divya who on our last morning came and knocked on our door after a leopard was spotted off the main road... And oh my god, I cannot believe we were lucky enough to see her. Overall it was an incredible experience that we will never forget. The knowledge the staff have of the local area and animals is commendable and I would recommend kaav to anyone wanting to visit kabini and the reserves. Thank you again, so much. Sas & George

The quiet and serene environment. The feeling of exclusivity as the facility only has a few rooms. The Chef is good and food was great.

This place is next to a Game Reserve. The "in and out" roads are closed at 6 pm to 6 am every day. This becomes a problem if are unable to time yourself on your return to the facility in the evening,

Good home style cooking Impeccably clean Unobtrusive service Pantry outside the room for making tea/coffee, so no clutter inside. Refreshingly chilly and clean pool. Lovely time on the terrace watching the clouds. Peacefully grows on you. So happy to go to a jungle resort and not encounter any creepy crawlies inside. Would love to go back and stay in the pool villa.

A really special hotel. The staff were so attentive and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. Government safaris were great and the Kaav naturalists gave us lots of extra information about the birds and animals we saw. The common areas (pool and observation deck in particular) were so comfortable, lovely places to relax! Also the food was absolutely delicious at every meal!

Absolutely everything. The hospitality, food, setting, accommodation, view - attention to detail. Everything was special. We stayed in the villa. Very beautifully done, spotless clean, very peaceful and special. Feed was just incredible. Very knowledgeable and kind hosts. One really feels the nature and care. Wonderful stay for us as a family. Could not recommend more.

We had a magic stay at Kaav Kabini. We stay 2 nights. Managing staff very helpful and very kind. This is a small and cosy property, we feel at home. Lovely contemporary place very well integrated in this natural area. The pool area is superb. Food is delicious, thank you again Chef and team. We had the possibility to reserve directly safaris (drive and boat). Wish we could come back again
