We had a room with a sea view, which was very enjoyable. This was in the late fall and it was quite cold outside, so we did not use the balcony, which must be quite nice in the summer. The room was very comfortable and clean with good design. It was well maintained and looked almost new. They had installed individual heating and cooling for every room about a year ago, so we could choose the temperature, which was good as it was quite cold outdoors (minus centidegrees during the night). It must also be an advantage in the summer. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good considering that it was low season and we ate quite late. This hotel clearly exceeded our expectations. Much higher standard than you would have expected from a hotel in a provincial city.

While the shower was very good in other ways, the glass wall was a bit small, so some water sprayed out on the bathroom floor. However, the bathroom had underfloor heating, so it dried up quite quickly, so it was not a big thing. Just another example of bathroom designers, who never seems to have used a hotel bathroom. This sadly is the situation in most hotels where we stay. I have seen much worse situations in this respect.

A short walk from the railway station. Friendly welcome. Pleasant room with a view over the bay. Easy to reach the old town. Good breakfast and plenty of peace and quiet. Will gladly return.

Cappuccino at breakfast would have been a real plus but this is rare in Finland anyway. I really don't think I can fault this place. Tammisaari is a real gem too.

Nice view from the balcony towards the sea! The sun shines directly there in the evening, so we enjoyed watching the sunset. The beds were spacious, though a little too soft for our taste, but still, we got a good rest. The breakfast was copious, I didn't expect it to be so good and diverse at a hotel with just 2 stars. We enjoy our stay, as well as the dog!

This is a perfect hotel if you need a base to make trips from. Our room had a balcony with a beautiful view over water and with an evening sun. It was about 10 – 15 minutes’ walk to the centre with nice restaurants by the sea, so the hotel is not central. They have bicycles though. Breakfast was satisfactory with both cold and cold dishes.

Small family-style hotel well in line with the general atmosphere of this fabulous little coastal town. Clean, quiet and functional. The rooms are small but adequate and the sea view is food for the soul. The breakfast has everything you need.

Good breakfast with lots of selection. Beautiful beachfront with a view on the river, where you can enjoy a drink or breakfast. Rooms were quiet and clean.
