Interesting industrial architecture, lovely location, nice rooms, good food, and friendly service. If you are touring Finland, are interested in Finland's industrial heritage, and want to experience something a little different, then this should certainly be on your list of places to stay.

There is a need for better signage, for example a clear Guest Parking sign would help when arriving by car for the very first time. It would also be useful if food at breakfast was clearly labelled as to whether it is Gluten Free, Lactose Free or Vegan.

The location and the food were excellent, we had dinner in the restaurant, and the chef did an excellent job on our meal. The rooms were very spacious, and the beds were comfortable.

As we are from the southern hemisphere, we found the room warm and would have liked to have been able to open the windows for some fresh air.

Room was located in a separate building from where the main lobby was. Take the best room they have, if you want silence and good privacy. Room had its own ventilation system, but no real air condition to cool down. In our case, this was not a problem due to the time of the year. Great, illuminated walking routes around the river bank. Everything was clean and service was friendly.

Note that the only restaurant (any place to get food) closes early. Check the times. There is no 24h/7 lobby. After closing, the nearest location to get something to eat is some 5 km away. Breakfast was OK, but not as good as expected. Limited selection and even that was partially running out if you came 30 m. before they close the breakfast service.

Really good breakfast buffet. Location is nice with short distance e.g. to Fiskars where there is more to see and experience.

No air conditioning, but a table fan, so I didn’t sleep well. However, if its not warm outside, this should not be an inconvenience.

The room was spacy, high quality furnishings. Separate toilet from shower was convenient, very clean. The surroundings are lovely, great atmosphere. Dinner was very good.

If mobility issues, need to mention when booking, so you get a room with easy access. Our room was accessible by outside stairs (no elevator), however, this was just fine for us..

Beautiful place, kind staff. Excellent breakfast. Rooms were gorgeous, lighting was well done, bed was comfy, and the air also didn't get "stuffy" in the room, so some kind of air ventilation was great. We liked that there was information about the history, and pictures and artifacts around the ironworks. Also the atmosphere was well preserved.

If one doesn't have a car, it might be difficult to get around as most of the sights around Billnäs aren't at walking distance. The walls were also a bit thin, as we could hear our neighbors enjoy what was apparently a rare weekend away. Their private time wasn't kept very private :)

Interestingly renovated rooms in old industrial buildings. The village is beautiful.

First, we were placed in a very hot room without a possibility to open the windows. After two rounds of complaints, we were moved into a room with a window that could be opened. No parking place for bikes.

Nice location and environment, comfortable room. Restaurant had very tasty drink and dinner options, breakfast buffet while relatively small selection was of excellent quality. Very friendly staff!

Room could have been cleaner, minor things only though.

Beds were comfortable. Rooms were more spacious than what is visible on the site. Silence - we slept very well.

11 o'clock check out (although staff was flexible and we could get 30 minute extension). Washing dishes is not included in the room. Not a big deal but good to know.

Comfortable and stylish room and restaurant in old industrial setting and atmosphere, the history was brought up with photo displays real nice :) Bed was comfy and A/C was working fine. Excellent service also! We stayed for two nights and this was a great base for visiting Tammisaari, Hanko and Fiskars.
