Beautiful old hotel with modern extension. Large car park. Large room with balcony, comfortable and very clean. Great staff, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and able to eat on sunny veranda. Restaurant not open every day but the meal we had on Wednesday night was first class. Menu again had lots of choice and it was amazing food. Compliments to the chef. Private bathing area by the lake, beach towel and bag supplied. E-bikes to hire for day. A great hotel with lots of personal touches to make for a fantastic stay. Highly recommend

Loved everything! It totally exceeded my expectations. Outstanding view, great restaurant with attentive staff (try the Marillenknödel!), awesome breakfast, free parking, animal-friendly, lovely private beach with free rowboat and SUPs (and turquoise water!); and all at a great price. This is how you run a private hotel. Hats off to all staff! Thanks for a great stay and for the unexpected upgrade! (Booked single bed, got double! 😀)

There's nothing I didn't like. Loved this place from start to finish.

What made this hotel truly exceptional was our lake view from the large and spacious balcony and the amazing breakfast. Not only the food was amazing at the breakfast, but the view overlooking the lake with perfect lighting, and outdoor dining--really perfection! We also enjoyed the private beach access. It is a nice plus that there are toilet facilities at this beach. Not only did we swim and sun during the day, but we went to the beach at night to watch the Perseids meteor shower and it was quite the show. The lakeside was quite dark with no ambient lighting so the viewing conditions were ideal. Thank you for the hospitality, we would come again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful view, good breakfast. The private beach is spacious and nice, though quite far away - but not such a problem since parking is available.

Strong smell of fertilizers, bad insulation - we had very noisy neighbors partying long into the night.

Hotel staff is absolutely fantastic, taking care of everything perfectly. All food was really delicious. Great view to the lake.

Lake view rooms are a bit noisy due to the road in front of the house if window is open, but the view compensates for it.

This is one of the most relaxing and best run places I have ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived the Haberl family and their fantastic staff seemed to regard looking after me as their top priority. All are immaculate, quiet but fast and efficient, polite, helpful without being intrusive and always friendly. The hotel itself is top notch quality, very clean, spacious, homely, plenty of daylight, colourful and excellently maintained. I drove round the Attersee lake today - I know it pretty well anyway, I've been coming here for years. No other location to match Hotel Haberl! Breathtaking panoramic views from one terrace, a spectacular peaceful view over the vast golf course from the other. Fabulous food - big thanks to Mrs Haberl and her team! - the very varied breakfast buffet alone is simply superb, totally fresh and appetizing. I was lulled into savouring the peaceful surroundings, watching the distant life on the road roll quietly by, marveling at the changing light and weather (great for me as an en plein air artist). A golden wheat field grew just yards from my table where skimming house martins put on a continuous, mesmerising aerobatic show. It takes just a few minutes by foot or car to reach Hotel Haberl's peaceful and big private meadow right on the lakeside with its cosy wooden cabin, equipped with clean toilets, changing cubicles, parking, etc. I was down there before 6 to paint the sunrise and 8 ducklings waddled over to welcome me, rubbed their beaks gently in my hand, even let me stroke them. If you want a place to 'get away from it all', somewhere to recharge your batteries, Hotel Haberl is a brilliant choice and I heartily recommend you stay here. Sounds like paradise? You bet! I can't wait to go back.

The hotel's staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, we had a really nice time there. The hotel is overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. They have a private, lakeside beach with complimentary sunbeds and towels that is wonderful and secluded. Traditional Austrian fare in the restaurant, high-quality local ingredients and a great breakfast buffet.

The hotel has a private access to the lake just a short walk from it with the option of going there with a car. Free paddleboards and sunbeds available. Nice breakfast and good restaurant.

No fridge in the room to keep baby food.
