Hotel Bella Vista is an excellent base for active people located about 3 minute drive from Porto marina run by a friendly and extremely helpful couple. What I Ioved about this place was their touchscreen located at a hotel lobby available for everyone to use. It has all information about the area including pictures right at your fingertips - hiking trails, boat trips, villages, beaches etc. I have personally never come across to such a useful visual tool at a hotel and I think it is a brilliant idea. Also, there's a plenty of useful information about the area in a guide book that is in a room as well. Frédéric (hotel owner) was very helpful in organizing a boat trip (including 15% discount) and provided great hiking recommendations (Lake Nino via GR20). That's what I appreciated about this place - being able to get a piece of advice (depending on a weather) from someone local who is familiar with the area. I also liked a spacious room with a little balcony overlooking the mountains. I highly recommend this hotel.

The view of the mountains from our window was exceptional - truly a Bella Vista. The breakfast was also exceptional - very delicious food with a great outdoor patio where we had the same view of the mountains. The room itself was basic and had bath only (no shower) but this is what we expected. Definitely recommended especially if you are doing a boat tour of Scandola and the Calanches of Piana as the Porto Oto docks are extremely close by.

We’ve enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bella Vista a lot. Amasing location which provides a beautiful view to the mountains. Lots of good restaurants nearby and not crowded beaches as well. The room was super tidy and spacious. Very good air conditioning. Coffee machine was a nice addition. Plus we had our own terrace with a small dining set and also two sun loungers. Perfect for breakfast with a view or a calm evening to relax. Everything was well organised and functional. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hosts also recommended a great boat trip to the nature reserve. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the view from the hotel and its surroundings was beautiful. This hotel is located around 1 km from the port beneath towering granite mountains. Our room had a stunning view from a balcony out to the mountains and also provided a view of the river below and out to sea. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good value. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Access to the rooms requires a rather energetic climb up external stairs. While it was straightforward without luggage it was more challenging with it.

Very good location (better than down by the port in my opinion); very friendly staff. Had a great conversation with Frederic, the owner and fellow cyclist, who also helped me park my car for a multiday cycling trip and gave me a nice upgrade as a better room was still available. I felt very welcome

Nothing, really. You can hear the road in some of the rooms. But no problem once you close the windows and zero traffic at night anyway

Attention to detail during our stay, replenished tea, coffee daily. Notified client of their environmentally friendly policy. . Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Small refrigerator, which ran quietly. Quiet and efficient air conditioning. Breakfast (optional) with local products.

Complimentary water in the fridge would have been much appreciated as an additional touch.

We had a room with Mountain View and balcony. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evening and some mornings. Great location, close to some shops and restaurants. Also, hotel owners and staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location. Very comfortable room with fantastic view. Frederico was fantastic for check in and providing information for restaurants. Very accommodating with leaving luggage.

Location was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice. They did a very good job renovating the units, new windows, very nice shower and bathroom area and HVAC unit that worked well. The unit was small but very well laid out. The units had new modern bathroom and sleeping area and they maintained an old world charm. It was also very clean. Breakfast was simple but very good.

Electrical outlet to charge phones was hard to find. If you have issues with steps you may have a problem. Pack light.
