Everything! The room, the view, the restaurant, the sunset, the swimming pool with the infinity view... We were on a road trip of Corsica and got to Ajaccio at 6pm. Drove around for a while looking for somewhere to stay and we both didn't like it - too busy and too touristy. I got on Booking.com and booked a superior double room with a seaview at Hôtel Castel d'Orcino. Half an hour later we arrived at paradise. Our room overlooked the ocean, the bay and rock pools. The restaurant was open and served excellent food. The sunset was the best one we had seen in over forty years of travelling. The room was beautiful - a really big bed - super king (6ft wide), sockets each side, thoughtful and perfect lighting, a fridge, clean and spacious bathroom with nice toiletries. The gentleman who met us and checked us in was really friendly and helpful and made us reservations for dinner which was a bonus as we were late to book and arrive. We had a lovely drink on our balcony before dinner.

Breakfast were excellent and catered for all tastes. View out across the bay was superb. Evening restaurant under the trees outside, nothing better. Hôtel is dog friendly and also has an EV charging point in its car park area.

No direct access to the sea at the property even though it is built on the rocks and is within 5 metres. There is an excellent beach 1km from the hotel with lifeguards and other facilities available.

Great location. Situated right on the rocks. Beautiful garden with old trees. Great views from first floor rooms. Nice pool. Swimming in the sea at little distance.

Dining is great for the atmosphere. Meals are okay - fullstop. The wine menu is quite small.

Outside area best we have stayed at, great pool and views. Restaurant food and staff were fantastic!

Rooms too small and outdated, don’t reflect the outside. Also, a Corsica problem, but particularly bad wasp infestation at dinner and breakfast here.

The view was exceptional, the room perfect, the ocean access remarkable and the food at the restaurant was incredible!!

This is not something the hotel can (or should!) change, but the water in the pool was a little chilly for me but my husband loved it!

The location is amazing. Beautiful pool and great access to the water (great for snorkeling). The breakfast was also good. Special thanks goes to the staff. Our car broke down on the day we were supposed to leave and they helped us (before the assistance arrived). We would highly recommend staying here.

View that is one the best I ever experienced, super comfortable sunbeds becide the pool, good buffet breakfast.

Renovated party, the most important things are there, but some fine details are still missing - proper blow dryer, better TV, but that doesnt make the stay less good.

Very smooth check-in, nice staff, great view and magnificent pools. Nice place to stay 1 night.

Rooms are not closed with normal keys or locks - they have only garden doors with no security at all - anyone can open your room if they have any intension. Breakfast was below average as they use the cheapest products. Fruit salad was disgusting, lady who was serving the breakfast was very rude. Also be aware that even when you book non-refundable rooms, they don't charge you, but only reserve the money on your account and during the check-out they want you to pay. This is not critical, but a bit nervous.

Loved loved loved! Couldn’t believe our luck in finding this place! Close to water, beautiful and clean facility… loved the pool too!

Absolut fantastic location!

Unfortunately the cleaning was not done properly. For example the used coffee cups weren’t changed. Breakfast buffet is limited.
