After reading online comments about this hotel, I was reluctant to make a booking but that night, every other hotel in central Ajaccio was full. I had no choice but I was very surprised by our room and helpful staff. Our room had been redecorated and was very clean and well appointed for a mid range hotel. It was spacious and comfortable. great new shower was the best we had on our ten day holiday in Corsica. The windows opened onto a rear courtyard area which was very quiet. We checked in early and needed luggage storage (also on departure) and this was no problem. On departure, reception willingly rang and booked a taxi for us. The hotel is easy walking distance to the ferry and then to the waterfront markets and restaurants.

It was much better than I expected so there is nothing to add.

Room was recently renovated, clean and comfortable. Has a beautiful port side view . Staff was excellent and friendly . Breakfast was served in the morning . The hotel is just down the street from the ferry , easily walked . Unfortunately we asked a cab driver how far and he loaded us up drove us up the street and circled back and dropped us off in less than 5 min. Our lesson. Excellent location , and would stay again.

very attentive hosts and extremely clean and tidy. full aircondition and all technical functionalities we as family need. Very lenient as we used the parking space until 3pm the next day as the location is very central and in a very busy town centre parking is sparse whilst all sights are in walking distance from the hotel.

Hotel Dauphin is spotlessly clean! All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are renovated in a nice modern way. We had a room on the front side with seaview. We very much enjoyed the great view over the harbour and the sea. The breakfast was also good. The hotel has a very strict anti-bedbug policy which apparently works very well. No bugs and a truly comfortable stay. Compliments for the whole team!

The hotel is 200m from the ferry terminal, 300m from the train station and a 15 minute walk into the old town and beach. Do not be put off by the drab and somewhat dingy bar, the room (24) was large, light, airy and spotless clean. The dining room was somewhat austere but the breakfast buffet was excellent.

The biggest issue for us was the completely useless Wi-Fi.

Great location (beachfront, max. 500 m to city market, Fesch palace, Bonaparte 2x museum, …), very comfortable bed, quality of the equipment). Also, they will gladly store your luggage, if needed.

Did not have breakfast due tp proximity of market, but canteen area may need some renovation.

Very good location, absolute friendly staff explained everything. We went with own car and they had a parking option just 5 minutes avay for 20 euro per day. Room was equipped just quality interior such as Daikin A/C, Schneider electric sockets, electric window shades etc. You can park in front of the Hotel until you take your luggage to the room.

A small fridge would be nice, even when I have to pay more. You do not find it in the room equipment so it is not the fault of the Hotel.

Outstanding, the room was immaculate, seemed brand new. Black out blinds so good we overslept! Good location for the ferry. Great room for family of 4. Overall this place is not 2*, at least 3*+. Many thanks.

Breakfast was not huge for teenage boys.

We arrived early evening and had an overnight stay and left to catch the ferry at 6am. The hotel was close to the railway station where we arrived and close to the ferry terminal. It was very clean and convenient for our short stay,

The hotel may look old on the outside but the rooms are fully renovated. Our room was spacious, super practical, very clean and comfortable (USB & USB C ports, handy for international travellers). Can't fault the location with restaurants and airport bus stop only a short distance walk.
