The setting was very pretty, and everything was well cared for with lovely gardens. Good location for visiting the area. The room was comfortable, and easy to walk to on the flat. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choices The staff were lovely, very helpful and kind

There were a few minor things in our room that would have made it more useable eg. Hooks in the bathroom for robes or towels near the shower. Somewhere to put toiletries in the shower. A handbasin in the toilet. We were a bit disappointed with the evening meals, for the same price we have had more interesting food. There was a distinct lack of vegetables. However, it was very convenient not to have to go out after a day sightseeing, and it was all cooked beautifully.

Everything was just perfect: The helpful guidance from first moment, the delicious local gifts waiting on the bed with a pretty card, the fabulous view from my room to the chapel and sunset, the great location right next to the path that leads to the stone alignments, so convenient. The location was sensational for its view all around: To the sunrise in the morning and down to the coast. It was a huge surprise that the restaurant served such gourmet food, and again beautiful view. Lovey pool area. Close to the old city centre and museum. This is one of my best hotel experiences ever, and I was really sad to leave. Hope to be back!

we had a very warm welcome and were pleasantly surprised that we were allocated an upgraded room. The whole of the hotel was very well presented but our room was both of ample not to say generous size with a small patio/garden to the front for relaxed sun bathing. The breakfast provision was excellent with almost everything you could think of being available and made for an excellent start to the day sitting in the dining room with its panoramic views.

Our room was a little warmer on arrival than we would have liked but it was readily ventilated

Fabulous location next to the large tumulus and within walking distance to the alignments as well as into the center of town. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and towel heater worked well. Staff is friendly.

There was no heater nor air conditioning in the room. The room would get stuffy, and one could only open the window, which let in flies. Need a hook next to the sink to hang a hand towel.

Elegant hotel at special historic site. Nice staff, good quality of dinner. Building has esthetic quality.

Curtains let the sun in too early (at the side), light comes also in under the door of room nr. 1.This room is located near kitchen and service area, this leads to some disturbance of night-rest. Fence around swimming-pool and shower outside needs update.

The hotel was just outside the main village but walking distance from the bus stops that we used to visit most of the major sites, it was also walking distance from the mégalithes. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English which helped with our conversations. The room was of good size and clean. WiFi was excellent. Did not eat breakfast but it looked wonderful.

If you are arriving by train or bus it is an uphill hike from the main town and/or bus stop.

This hotel and spa feels like a resort. Located at the base of the Tumulus Saint-Michel, a megalithic burial mound on the edge of Carnac, it offers fine dining at dinner time and a wide selection of delicious choices for breakfast. All of the staff were warm, friendly and expert, and our room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated, with a well-appointed, modern bathroom.

Great location. Very good upgrade on the room to a garden room. Lovely choice of good at breakfast. Mostly very helpful staff.

One member of staff was quite bristly. Returned from a walk one evening on a day when restaurant was closed and saw people in the bar but were told bar hours meant that even though one member of staff was on duty it was too late to be served a drink as he was cleaning up. Not a good look for a hotel of this calibre.

The hotel is exceptionally located. The silence is absolute the garden agreeable and well tended. A beautiful tree (americen pine tree?) of 120 years is the compagnon of the travelers....

The restaurant is very pleasant traditional but with a good modern trend. The "menu du jour" is different every day but it is possible to mix "à la carte" and "menu du jour" . This flexibility is a real plus.

Location, accommodation, staff and bar.

Lots of effort put into dinner plates but food very disappointing. Very bland despite appearance. Menu very limited. Significant mismatch between price and quality. The restaurant is beautiful and the serving staff really nice. Did not have breakfast but it looked good.
