We had a very nice room (cool in great heat) with a lovely private terrace over-looking a beautiful garden. We stayed here for two weeks and the terrace made all the difference - we could sit out with a glass of wine in the evenings. The breakfasts were fine, not extensive, but plenty for us: Fresh bread, croissant, coffee, tea and orange juice. There was also fruit, yoghurts and some cheese. Taken on a terrace in the garden. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was quiet and beautifully clean.

It is quite a long walk into St Gustain and Auray where all the bars and restaurants are, but on the plus side there is plenty of good parking space at the hotel. It would be difficult to stay here without a car or bicycle.

Nice, large room with big bed, plenty of hanging space, en-suite and door to small terrace with table and chairs. Lovely gardens. Friendly, helpful staff (making dinner reservations for us), breakfast available (we didn’t have it) but looked to be a good choice and overlooking garden. Well situated for walking into town (ask them to give you the short cut) as it really wasn’t far and a nice walk. Good value for money. WiFi worked well and plenty of on- site parking. Recommend Le Chaudron next door (hotel will book for you).

Bathroom a bit dated but it worked fine, plenty of hot water. Others have mentioned mosquitoes, so went prepared with anti mozzie plug ins which worked well as did see a few.

Hotel comfortable and clean. Beautiful gardens to the rear. Accessible to clientele Staff friendly and helpful. Room good , reasonable choice for breakfast (not included in cost) Location of hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of Auray and its attractions. Easy driving distance to other attractions in the area. A lovely 7 night stay.

The location was central and I was able to walk to town, to the grocery and enjoy how beautiful it was. I rented a bicycle from a great store walking distance - Bisiklet and then I was able to pedal to the train station to catch the bus to Carnac and Quiberon. The owners are very nice and accommodating. I stayed extra days because I felt so comfortable. The price is affordable because it is a no frills lodging spot. The breakfast typique French continental style breakfast.

The shower stall is a tight fit, so if you are on the bigger side, check if other rooms have something larger. The pillows have seen better days.

The location and free parking attached to the hotel.The staff were very friendly, especially Frédéric, who was on duty when I arrived. Very helpful.

It lacked air conditioning and a small fridge with at least one bottle of water. I would also have liked to have coffee or tea making facilities in my room without having to go to reception.

Very quiet and easy to drive around the area. Family run hotel which was very clean and staff helpful. Need to read all the information as we didn’t realise you could have meat and cheese with breakfast. Great restaurant next door but ate in saint guistan most nights. Too far to walk if you are not very fit. Need to park then walk. Great restaurants there.

You could order a charcuterie breakfast (which we did) or various additions like boiled eggs all for nothing extra. About a 10 minute walk to some super restaurants and the hotel wasn't far from some major roads (e.g. motorway) or local interests (e.g. Carnac Stones).

Warning. In summer do not sleep in any downstair rooms with the windows open. We were badly bitten by mosquitos

From arriving in the ample car park just outside the door,to the nicely decorated room,everything was as it should be.A totally professional establishment.I particularly enjoyed having a picture of Pen Duick to look at as Eric Tabarly is a hero of mine.On a nice evening the very scenic Port St Goustan is a few minutes walk away and is worth a visit.

Nothing to dislike about the experience.

Staff were very welcoming. The bedroom was comfortable, on suite was new, clean, with good shower. Location was peaceful, with nice garden to relax in. Just a short walk down to the port. Secure car parking at the hotel. Good breakfast, not cooked, but typically French. We took our dog (Yorkshire terrier)on holiday with us. There were no issues at all, in fact he was made welcome by the owners. Obviously we were aware potential problems, so we took his bed with us, and kept him on a lead at all times.

We have no complaints regarding our stay at Hotel Le Branhoc.

Silent room, flexible and organized for my late night arrival, good surprise with a lit pellet stove on arrival (it was cold outside but warm and cozy inside the reception), and gave us the tip to visit the historical city port just a few minutes away (which was a beautiful surprise).
