Lovely room, clean, comfortable and cozy. Dominique is a great host and helped us getting some snacks on a near market when we arrived at the hotel, as we were late for a lunch meal on nearby restaurants. Location is also great, with a cool view from the sea.

This is potentially a 10/10 hotel, but in our specific case we were a little affected by some improvement works that were being held during our stay. The pool was only available on the first day of our stay, so Dominique offered us a little discount for the inconvenience. Cable TV also had a problem that could only be fixed the day after. Breakfast is good but served in a very slow pace, which may cause delays if you need to meet schedules for tours.

Beautiful family owned property, super clean, comfortable and with very large beds. The bed on the terrace was fantastic idea for relaxation, super quiet area at night, safe and comfortable rooms and parking area, central location near by the main beach and the restaurants in the village. We would definitely stay there again if we are ever in Las Galleras again.

Don’t come hungry or on schedule at breakfast. Beautiful breakfast with really nice team but really slow. I wish they could organize themselves better for everyone’s comfort…

The whole property was perfect! Great location close to the beautiful beach and restaurants only a block away. The property was so charming and the staff were all so cheerful and helpful. Our studio was great, cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. I loved the big terrace. Great communication with the hosts! The breakfast that was included was very good. Las Galaras is a hidden gem and La Iselata made for the perfect stay in this little paradise.

That we weren't there Longer!

In our opinion, Las Galeras is the most enchanting destination in Samana. This gem of a location offers pristine, untouched nature that takes your breath away. The house itself is utterly charming, featuring French-style apartments with magical views and terraces thoughtfully designed for relaxation, enjoyment, and creating unforgettable memories. The host is exceptional, clearly passionate about their work, which adds to the overall delightful experience. The beach and the people are equally wonderful, making this our favorite place of all time. We eagerly look forward to returning. ☺️

Location is perfect. Right on a beautiful beach with the most gorgeous turquoise waters, walking to restaurants but off the Main Street so it’s so quiet. The landscaping of the gardens on site are exquisite and colorful. Rooms are cleaned every two days and everything smells fresh. The manager Dominique was responsive and accommodating even when our car ran into issues and he allowed us to leave our baggage in the room after checkout while we sorted things out. The breakfast included was delicious and filling!

Everything was perfect. The location is just a short walk from the restaurants and shops, but in a very quiet street and right next to the beach. Room was super comfortable with a great shower, kitxhen, and wonderful balcony. Pool was really nice.

The apartment is righ on the beach.. Close to anything going on in Las Galeras. Clean and spacious. Dominique the host was amazing.. Very good communication.. I anticipated my stay.. Had issues with atm and he was super available to help. Really really appreciate it! If I ever go back I'll rebook the same for sure 100%

Nothing all perfect

It was a great experience, Dominique was awesome with us, he asked questions we made and also brought recommendations about places to visit/eat. The place was clean, with beautiful decorations, and secure, with easy access to the main beach in Las Galeras and close (10 minutes) to other beautiful beaches. Easy access to restaurants (5 minutes walking). Great breakfast (we left early for Santo Domingo and Dominique gave us some sandwiches and fruit).

Huge keyring. Long breaks in internet connectivity during the day. Missing a towel or something to step on when leaving the shower.

Place and rooms are lovely, exactly like in the photos. Hotel is spacious and designed to rest - there are room with private space for relax. My room had access to shared relaxing terrace and kitchen but I don’t regret choice, it was never too crowded. View was great as hotel is right by the ocean. Owner is superkind and helpful man ready to share useful tips and solve any problem.

Maybe some space to hang clothes in the room was missing. Some pillows were too hard. Cleaning service missed my room once or twice by some mistake but when they cleaned it – quality was perfect. Take your time before you get the breakfast ;)
