The private apartment was beautiful, great for a solo traveller or couple. Fully working kitchen, bathroom, and private bedroom- nice balcony to chill on. The party hostel across the road can be quite loud, but it's been rainy season so I guess people drink a lot! There are activities like yoga and shared games in the hostel building (just across the road). Wifi works well, free drinking water, and possibility of daily room cleaning if requested. The manager Somaya is lovely and I went on an impromptu nature trip one day guided by her kindness and some others...

The only negative is the location, would be excellent right by the beach... They have a laundry service for only 200 r. And there's great cheap fruit and veg shops just up the road, and the Sai Upasana Fruit juice centre is highly recommended! 3 mins walk. Overall this is a great place to stay and I would come back again, every year.

First of all I liked the energy in the hostel!! It’s not a party hostel, but you can recharge and meet nice people here. It’s also very good to come back here after the party in Arambol and enjoy the chill vibe :) the hostel is very spacious, you never have the feeling it’s too crowded. It has big nice common areas, yoga area, everything is clean. Beds are comfortable. The stuff is very friendly and always ready to help! I booked three nights firstly, then I extended for two weeks and can imagine to stay here much longer!

There is nothing what I didn’t like

True to the picture, the property is an amazing place to stay at, the washrooms are clean and spacious, the rooms are big enough for you to stay and keep your luggage, the linens are clean. it's hard to find dislikes about this place. And finally, the manager, great guy, warm and accommodating, always reachable and ready help if you're in need. I was this close to extending my stay here, and would've done so if I hadn't paid already at my next destination. Definitely coming back!

But why does someone have to remind you to pay several times from the outset, even though you still have a few nights to go! - when I wanted to extend my stay, they tried to give me a higher price for the next nights each time - Visa card payment not possible - Bed a bit hard - no shampoo and shower gel available in the room (in my opinion a must-have in a superior room) - no toilet paper (in my opinion a must-have in a superior room) - also no curtains in front of the windows, which let a lot of light into the bedroom (in my opinion a must-have in a superior room) - Wifi did not work at all in my room on the last day

I recently spent two wonderful weeks at Tranquilo Hostel in Arambol, and it was an experience to remember! The hostel's ambiance and the friendly staff, especially Oweiz, made my stay delightful. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were top-notch, and the self-cooking kitchen was well-equipped with essentials like a fridge, induction cooktops, basic utensils, and drinking water. Parking for two-wheelers was hassle-free, which was a big plus. Evenings at Tranquilo were a treat, filled with vibrant vibes as different people gathered to play musical instruments. I had the opportunity to meet and have great conversations with travelers from around the world. The terrace was a serene spot for morning yoga sessions. The location is another perk, with Arambol Beach just 1.5 km away, making for a pleasant walk. You can also stroll along the beach to reach Mandrem Beach. The nearby cafes, particularly Patrice Cafe, offered delicious and affordable food. Overall, my stay was exceptional, and I highly recommend Tranquilo Hostel to solo and group travelers alike.

The WiFi was a bit unreliable for remote work, but thankfully, my Airtel 5G network saved the day, allowing me to use a mobile hotspot instead.

The place is peaceful and well maintained. The staff is kind and helpful. Leander is quick to respond to communication over the phone. His entire family was generous in sharing required information. The room that I had booked (1RK) was spacious and has a huge balcony. Initially it felt secluded as I didn't see many people around but it was safe.

The separate rooms are located in a different building little away from the main hostel with dorms. This makes it a bit difficult to interact with the fellow travellers from the hostel if one is staying in separate rooms. Also, it would be helpful to plan some activities in the common area to stimulate interactions among the travellers.

The building is big and beautiful with lots of seating, socializing, music, and yoga/excervise (with mats). Down the road there is a great juice/wifi cafe ran by a family. There is a lot of rooms for the same bathrooms but it never seemed problematic. That said The prices here are one of the highest values for the budget travelers. Many free spirits find themselves here. The people working here are great with helpful advice and friendly without giving you any problems. Bharat was a nice guy and hell of a worker. I know from experience he’s giving Tranquilo his best. Hope to see all you guys again soon!

The kitchen is a little small for the size so I’d really recommend investment in a commercial kitchen upgrade if possible. The power went out over the course of a few days so surge might be an issue that they have been working on. The bed Outlets were out beforehand, making safe charging hard. Last the mosquitoes are a little harsh so be prepared in a non AC room.

Guests were really cool! Such a great vibe over there. The mattress was really good and comfortable. We found our private ground floor room clean enough.

When we bought fruit and eggs to cook in the communal kitchen, we found really dusty stairs and the kitchen was really dirty. The fridge looked like nobody had touched the inside borders in years. Sorry guys, you can do it better.
