The position and the pool area. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The pool was 150 steps from our room so not easily accessible. The pool only opened from 12-6. After breakfast you had no where to sit until 12, when I asked I was told to sit in my room. We had no table and chair on our balcony to do that. Also to stay in a hotel with a beautiful pool we wanted to sit with our friends and watch the sunset from the pool with a cocktail but had to leave at 6 and separate from our friends and go to our rooms. That was disappointing. Restaurant had nice food but not for the prices. 50 euros for a main, risotto and 40 for a salad was not worth the price at all. Would not visit again.

Absolutely beautiful property with amazing views from every angle. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We were so grateful for the assistance with our luggage! You will not regret staying at Dana Villas, the beautiful rooms and views alone are worth it!

I found that every morning at breakfast I was told that they had run out of something I had ordered. They have a ‘rule’ that you can only order 1 thing from each section of their breakfast menu, and for the ‘hot’ options of the breakfast menu it was all eggs, being someone who doesn’t eat eggs, it made that a little limited in what I can eat considering I can’t order more than one thing from the other sections of the menu. I felt they weren’t flexible enough on letting people order what they want especially considering they had run out of ingredients for certain items. E.g. allowing someone to order 2 things from 1 section because there is no yogurt left.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were allowed to use hotel's facilities (pool, toilets and shower) before check in and after check out. Very luxurious room with breathtaking view. High end toiletries provided. Outstanding Jacuzzi pool (Cave Pool Suite). It was very clean. We have been greeted with complimentary bottle of wine. Every evening we have been given complimentary desert and bottles of water. Very generous breakfast with great variety of choices.

To be mindful, you can't see it on the pictures but there is a small pathway next to the Jacuzzi and balcony area that leads to the suite next door, so your neighbour will walk right next to you once in a while.

The staff were brilliant- from the driver who transferred us to and from the hotel to the porters who lugged our bags all the way from car to the rooms and back to the friendly and helpful staff at reception, in the restaurant and in housekeeping. They all catered to our every need. We didn't have to lift a finger The room itself was amazing. Very comfortable and lots of space to spread out. The balcony/terrace had a perfect view of the caldera and an uninterrupted view of the sunset. There was absolutely no need to travel to Oia to see the sunset. The hotel's location was great - about midway between Fira and Imerovigli. Easy access to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Loved our stay here.

Have to admit, this is one of the priciest places in Firostefani - but I suppose those private views don't come cheap. The only other minor quibble we had was that the bed was on a mezzanine level near the entrance to the room and to access the lounge, bathroom and terrace, you had to go down a very narrow flight of steps. This was a little precarious for people of our age bracket.

Room and private infinity pool was amazing. There are no words for the views from the room. Breakfast was included an was very gourmet. Customer service was 24 hrs a day, and that was nice.

Having to schedule breakfast times was a pain. There was a day we missed b/c we scheduled, but ended up sleeping in. Also the location of breakfast was not optimal. Having to walk all the way down to the bottom of the property was not ideal....especially since you had to walk all the way back up to get anywhere else.

My fiancée and I got engaged at Dana villas on September 5th. I had been in contact with the property before hand, and they helped arranged a private dining terrace & decorated it so perfectly - it was the most magical moment of my life. They went above and beyond for us, and I am very grateful. Our room was upgraded to quite possibly the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. Our engagement dinner was exceptional. The food, the views, were all indescribable. Our server & food & beverage manager Kris, was a genuinely warm man with the perfect balance of professionalism & friendliness. I much preferred the property’s location compared to the much busier town of Oia. It was close enough to get where you wanted to, without being overrun with crowds. I very much miss our time there and 3 nights felt like a blur!

The staff went out of their way to make our stay better than we could have imagined. Chris from the restaurant was amazing and gave us some great suggestions and just took great overall care of us each morning. George at the front desk was quick to respond to our requests. We had an unforgettable trip and wouldn't stay anywhere but Dana Villas when we come back to Santorini!

The private terrace with our own pool provided exceptional see view and made our stay memorable (better than in the photos!). The breakfast menu is outstanding, much better than in most top notch hotels! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They helped us rent a car delivered to our door in 20 minutes, helped us book transfers and recommended places to eat and places to visit. We cannot fault anything, we can only recommend!

Nothing negative to say….the only thing I didn’t like is something stupid but still valid….one of the breakfast items said pancakes and syrup….well it was 3 mini pancakes….i would have preferred regular size ones…that’s all…oh and lastly if you want ultimate privacy get the suite with the indoor/outdoor pool annnnd another one downstairs yes I said downstairs. Only thing I woudlve done differently, but was still amazing🙌🏾

This is hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed at! It was phenomenal we stayed in the cave suite with the pool! They brought our bags down to the room and even found my husband when we got lost on the stairs further down!

The sign was tricky to find when we came from the top but it was there! If you take the shuttle directly from them they transport your bags down! Just do that! It’s worth it! Santorini=stair master on steroids.
