This is our 5th consecutive summer stay at Ekies. The view and location is always perfect.

There were less staff this year and service was slow. We had two rooms and on many days the water or towels were not replaced in one of the rooms. I dislike that they can never guarantee us the rooms we request despite being loyal guests. My husband who is a doctor helped in two medical emergencies, one was major. No hotel staff have first aid training and it took 90 minutes for the ambulance to arrive, which wasn’t an ambulance as we know them. It was a patient transport vehicle with no equipment! I encourage the hotel to better equip themselves in case of emergencies with training and some basic supplies.

Nice location, design and implementation. Facilities are great and if you have kids, this is the place to stay! We enjoyed our time there as a family.

It could have been exceptional but it gives you a sense of being needlessly hungry for money. I've never, ever, been in a resort in Greece that charges €8 for 1 lt of Italian bottled water or €9 for 1 lt of greek bottled water with no free water in the room, although it is advertized that there is water in the room.. No free orange juice for breakfast, even 1* hotels offer some kind of juice. Coffee without water in the bar, prices that match a 5*+ hotel in the restaurants.

We were upgraded to the pine suite. That suite provides a privat pool - amazing especially for our toddler. It made our staying even better. The garden suite we needed to go for one day wasn’t so practical. Really spacious and modern, but also pretty dark and loud. For people without a toddler maybe perfect because it’s really close to the bar. The breakfast was well selected, the food in the restaurant pretty good with a modern twist and the fine dinging experience is great. Nice creative cuisine - worth a try. The privat beach was clean and several sun lounger were provided. The hotel is like a small tropical garden, very beautiful. Anyway you feel welcomed as a family with a small toddler there. They have a nice playground for all kind of ages.

There is not enough sunshade at the privat beach or at least they are not big enough. With a small child sometimes a bit annoying. Especially the pool for babies/toddlers didn’t have any shadow at all so we really couldn’t use it.

- The comprehensive breakfast spread provided by the hotel was an enjoyable kickstart to the day, full of delightful variety. - The hotel's location next to the beach was simply perfect, offering us a blend of serene relaxation and fun-filled beach activities. - Our culinary experiences were consistently enriched by the high-quality food offered across the hotel. - The calm and peaceful ambiance of the hotel was soothing, creating an atmosphere of tranquility amidst our exciting adventures. - We thoroughly enjoyed the soothing and professional services of the hotel spa, a rejuvenating haven after a day of exploration. - The hotel's thoughtful provision of umbrellas for guests choosing to explore different beaches added a layer of convenience to our outings. - Additionally, the boat rental service was a highlight, providing us with the opportunity to explore the surrounding waters at our own pace, and adding a unique dimension to our beachfront vacation

- The hotel was quite busy with families and children, which occasionally increased noise levels, though this was more season dependent rather than hotel dependent. - Sometimes, due to some of our table locations in the restaurant, it took a bit longer to get the staff's attention. - The shower had a tendency to splash water out, causing us to use and replace towels daily because we used them to mop the floor and they did not dry, which wasn't ideal from an environmental perspective.

the restaurant is great. a little expensive. food is great. breakfast was perfect. the staff are very nice.

Paying for extra at checkout, no clue what I paid for.. the invoice items are 'codes' which seems reasonable but you cant be sure what you order and what is a mistake. Dont rent boat at the property they are expensive ! for the same price you get double the time on other places. order a boat in advance anywhere.

The stay at the hotel was an experience rarely found in vacation resorts. The design of the rooms and outdoor areas, the music in the restaurant and bar, the relaxed atmosphere, the greenery – everything contributes to a different kind of experience. Whether you're with your family, your partner, or friends, it doesn't matter – somehow the place suits anyone looking for a premium yet chill vacation. Even if there were a few minor things that weren’t 100% to my taste, the overall experience and the attitude of the staff (especially at the reception) fully made up for it, resulting in a solid 10 out of 10 stay

The experience overall was very nice and cozy. You have everything you want inside the resort: two restaurants, beach, pool, massage, kids playground, lots of vegetation, relaxing nooks where you can read or have a chat, boat and water sports rentals and so on. The outdoor pool is amazing. The design is brilliant, it’s one of the perks that delighted us the most. The Vitra chairs and vases, the & Tradition lamps, the Driade sofas and chairs and many more. You have reception 24/7 which is a big plus. It was our first time with our dog, a small beagle, and the resort was super friendly with pets. We will definitely return to Ekies.

The superior double room feels very small. We made some friends on the resort and had the opportunity to see the room with a garden and the room with private pool. Those rooms I do recommend 100%. Lots of space, wardrobe, great places to stay in when it rains. All in all, like is said, we will definitely return to Ekies but we will not stay in the superior double room next time.

The setting is just incredible… easy from airport and just idyllic with own beach and stunning beaches minutes from hotel. For children it’s perfect with shallow & calm waters. The food at the hotel is on the more expensive side but it’s really great, and plenty of choice. Staff were all super lovely. Fab pool and massive rooms. Def get a boat for a day, plenty options nearby and v special.

The only slight negative was just the “trendy” lighting was a little dark and hard to get ready in! But I will be highly recommending this hotel everyone.

It is very nicely designed, comfortable and an elegant hotel. Everything is well thought with a high standard like we used to experience in Turkey luxury hotels. Beach area was sandy with comfy beds, coctails, foods are good. Breakfast is open buffet with many choices. We experienced a farm to table dinner event which was the first time they were trying, was spectacular, to have a dinner in the greenhouse and talking with other hotel guests. Thank you for the experience 😊

Well the sea is sandy but a bit blury not like turquoise water that we were looking for in Halkidiki. Staff was helpful but very slow service especially while waiting for the coffee during breakfast

- Good breakfast; - very nice pool; - quite place; - suitable for families with children (maybe we were the only one without 😃) - there are boats on the beach, that you can rent; - good air conditioning in the rooms;

- bar next to the pool doesn’t work; - it will be good if you have next to the pool beds some buttons or I don’t know something to call for waiter so you can order some drinks or food; - water on the beach has grass (but this can’t be fix by the hotel, so just for your information);
