My recent stay at Navutu Stars in Fiji was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff and the beauty of the surroundings made this trip truly unforgettable. We opted for the garden bungalow, and it exceeded our expectations. Tucked away in lush greenery, it offered a perfect blend of privacy and stunning views. The little private beach, just steps away from our bungalow, provided a tranquil escape that made every moment feel like a piece of paradise. The staff at Navutu Stars are the real gems of this resort. Their attentiveness and friendliness were beyond compare. From the moment we checked in to the day we left, Solo, Waiti, Dan, Pene, and, of course, Dolly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their genuine smiles and eagerness to assist created an atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. The local food at Navutu Stars is a culinary journey in itself. Every meal was a delightful exploration of Fijian flavors, and the chefs showcased their expertise in crafting dishes that were not only delicious but also a true reflection of the local culture. What sets Navutu Stars apart is their flexibility in organizing daily trips. Whether it was exploring the nearby islands, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, or enjoying a sunset cruise, the resort made it easy for us to customize our daily adventures. In conclusion, Navutu Stars is a haven for those seeking a perfect blend of natural beauty, exceptional service, and a touch of local culture. I can't recommend this resort enough and can't wait for the opportunity to return.

Thankyou (Vanaka!) a wonderful location with all the adventure of an island retreat with an authentic atmosphere serving up a varied menu with deliciously prepared meals. You will meet the most friendly staff who will welcome you as family. Comfortable and huge bedroom hut with big comfy bed, own garden and sun loungers & hammock to relax in. With a variety of activities ( 2 per day) to choose from, such as snorkelling with sea horses, village visit, fishing trips, hiking, and other cultural weekly events such as Kava ceremonies. Or you can sit on the beach bed and relax and listen to the sound of the water lapping. The bar is open all day with a great choice of cocktails. Nothing too much trouble if you ask the staff for anything. We had the comfort of spacious and well appointed accommodation with the charm of an island village whilst we enjoyed meeting all sorts of nationalities of all ages over a pre dinner cocktail or after dinner. We only donned our sandals on the odd occasion but spent the week moving around in bare feet and bathers. You can be as active or relaxed as you like , social or isolated as you choose. Did I mention the complementary massage? If you want an earthy but comfortable whilst authentic experience for your holiday, and wish to enjoy the freedoms of choosing activities or not! with wonderful staff along with views of the most colourful aqua waters whilst being in a part of the world which honours tradition and wears the largest smiles then this is the most perfect location for you! If you want a standard hotel room with block outs which shield you from the natural ebb and flows of island life then think again!! This place is heaven and will leave you wanting more.

Nothing

Secluded and wonderful with no crowds. Food was excellent, especially lobster salad and fish/chips for lunch. We loved the Kava ceremony and Lavo dinner. The bar was great! The Sunday visit from children’s choir was fun. The kayaking and paddleboarding was really nice. Staff was above excellent, seriously, and all staff took exceptional care of us. Great place to escape and rest.

We would prefer to have a small table with chairs at the bure and air-conditioned room. The music was nice but we would prefer something more South Pacific or Fijian.

The people! The food, the bures, the view out to sea, the pool and the activities are wonderful but it is the people that make this little spot so special. Not only did we feel like we were part of a Fijian family, we also made some very good friends in the other guests, as it is so intimate and chill. Oh, and Dolly, Pinky and Snow White, the resort dogs, were the sweetest additions.

Sadly, the beaches right outside the bures have been eroded, with the sand disappearing leaving rocks and an estuary. It is still lovely to look out at, particularly at high tide but the only place to swim is off the small beach where the boat lands.

Our room and the staff were unforgettable. The village vist is a Must Do. Please pack up sunglasses as gifts and Buy anything from the women: any penny is needed and would mean a change for them.

The reef is barely existent.

A little tired and could do with a bit of investment from the owners to bring it back to a high standard it once was.

The staff was amazing, went above and beyond to accommodate us. The resort was quiet, had enough activities for us and they were flexible when needed. The Bure was wonderful with a great view. We often found ourselves comparing other resorts to Navutu. The staff seemed to truly enjoy working there and were very helpful. I slept well, ate way too much great food, enjoyed happy hour, loved the activities and was very relaxed. It was everything I hoped for and more. I liked experiencing the Fiji culture and appreciated everything they did for us. We all had a wonderful time at Navutu.

It was a little more expensive but would return.

We were given fresh coconut water and a complimentary massage on arrival. Staff were very helpful and nice. Our bungalow had access to a private beach. Loved the local dogs

We cried when we left as the staff made us feel so welcome and part of their family. Loved the Resort friendly dogs, the food was amazing and nothing was a problem, making me delicious gluten free options fresh every morning. we loved visiting the village and the children coming to sing us on the Sunday. Anna the massage lady was also a treat and the snorkelling just a small boat ride away the coral was wonderful and colourful.

We were a little disappointed in the beach been washed away outside of our hut as the photo's looked like a beautiful white sandy beach but everything else was so amazing we soon got over that and swam where the boats came in.

Absolutely stunning location! Perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The food is excellent. No air conditioning but the fans made the room comfortable and we just had cold showers to cool down if needed. The activities such as the village tour and kava ceremony give the opportunity to experience Fijian culture. Highly recommend!
