First of all, I would like to praise the very friendly and professional hotel staff. The gentleman who looks after the property not only showed us the room and all the facilities during check-in, but also helped us bring our luggage. He was very nice and professional and spoke good English. The next day he showed us how to use the various appliances in the kitchen and sort the garbage, also he treated us with a professionally made tea. The kitchen also provided free coffee and a coffee machine. Our room was large and comfortable, the mattresses were new not worn out. We were provided with clean linens and clean towels, there was a table and two comfortable chairs in our room. Well equipped kitchen, glasses, plates, bowls, cutlery, pans, pots. Two cookers so no problem with access to fry or cook something, 2 large refrigerators available. Plenty of space to eat and relax inside the property (couches, tables) but it was nice weather so we ate our meals at tables in the garden with a beautiful view of the forest. The place is very peaceful and quiet. Showers maybe not the most recently renovated but clean and the water was hot and the water pressure was good. Toilets in good condition, renovated and clean. Good wifi. Short drive by car to nearest supermarket. Close to Astrid Lindgrens Värld in Vimmerby and to Sevedstorp where you can find Bullerbyn. Definitely great value for money. I recommend sincerely.

We came to visit the land of Astrid Lindgren so even coming across some things that were not modern or renovated we took it at face value and treated it as something vintage. Therefore, I would not change anything. :)

The staff was really friendly and made us feel like home by being really courteous and always doing the most to make us feel welcome. We were offered freshly baked bread, the fireplace was lit up only for us and it was insisted on taking care of our dishes. Really the best experience we had with hostel staff! The rooms were newly renovated and clean, as well as the shared bathroom

Nothing we didnˋt like, just that a car is really most convenient to get to the hostel as itˋs a bit outside the nearest village and the hostel isnˋt the most modern in general, but the staff makes up for that.

We really liked the surroundings, the forest and the fields. The children had a large garden. They were very happy to pet the dog, the bunnies and the kittens. The owner was very friendly. Highly recommended.

The person who works in hotel is very kind and helpful , everything is perfect and clean, I recommend you to visit here it worth it and my kids like staying here 🌷🌷👌🏻

I like that towels and bed linen are already included for the room price for such type of accommodation. The environment around the building is nice and quiet.

Because of the location the mobile connection is bad and the wifi in-house is not good either

Only two electrical sockets in the building, kitchen was a mess, the (water) well ran out of water.

The room was nice and big, with good beds and clean sheets for everyone.

The place need some more maintenance and care. The rooms need to be more equipped. There was almost nothing in the room, no bed lamps for example. Not enough showers and WC.
