I stayed in a villa with an amazing view! Both breakfast and dinner were great, and the hospitality and staff were truly top-notch.

The villa was a 5-minute drive from the hotel, which I didn’t fully realize when booking. But the car rental was included in the price, and you could use it to explore the island, which was a really nice touch!

The general impression of whole facility is very, very nice. The position is very well, because from there you can make short trips everywhere, and the main attractions are very near. Food was very good and each day different. Staff was very kind and helpful in any situation and moment. Our son was attacked by stingray on the beach, and without asking or calling anyone the car was in the same moment on our disposal and we where in ambulance in 10 minutes. The room was very clean and was supplied with fresh water, new towels, etc. every day. Houses with restaurant are situated in beautiful garden, maintained on daily base. Pools are also nice and well maintained.

Beach is not so well, but if you like to see other attractions and beaches, again, the hotel has an excellent position, and we will come back. Other thing are mosquitoes. They are everywhere on the island, and this is a general issue. In shops is possible to find different types of repelents, but is impossible to by the plug-in electric oil devices, which are very efficient, especially during the night.

The hotel is beautiful and located right on the beach. The staff is very friendly and professional. Both dinners and breakfast were excellent - dinner different every day and delicious food

They have a beach bar that was playing loud dance music (with a very heavy beat) on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 11pm (the day we were leaving they were going to have a massive beach party until 1am). If you were hoping to enjoy the sound of the ocean from your balcony in the evening you could not hear anything apart from the beat and it can be quite intrusive. So just depends if loud dance music in the evening bothers you or not. Otherwise the hotel is perfect.

I’ve travelled in more than 85 countries in hotels from 1 to 5 stars and I learnt that the big difference with hotels is made when you have a small problem. at le duc, I’ve received the best service I have ever had: from the receptionists to the owner, everyone has been incredibly kind and professional for the whole stay. it was a real kindness, not like the fake kindness you receive in big luxury hotel chains. moreover, the food, the spa and the position are without any doubt the best in the island.

at least water at dinner should be included in the price. there is instead an additional 10% service charge on the drinks you order at dinner that you will discover when checking out. I’m sure is written somewhere but just wanted to signal it as I haven’t noticed it.

Rooms bit musty smelling - appreciate it's a very humid country but we didn't experience this elsewhere Ocean rooms closest to beach but don't really provide a seaview Biggest turn off was the large sports screen, stage and disco type area just outside the ocean room block with loud music and strobe lights from 6 to 11pm 4 nights a week. Not the ambience we were expecting in the Seychelles - and we saw hardly anybody ever there.

It was our first time on the Seychelles and le duc de Praislin could‘t be better as our first hotel here. It was absolutely fantastic. Everybody was so friendly, especially Mohammed from Service at restaurant, the room was so nice, the food was so special every day. When I was ill one day, they really were so helpful. The beach is a dream. Everything you need is there. I once booked spa, which also was a really special Experiance. So thanks to the whole team of le duc, you know how to make us feel, like being home away from home. We really can recommend this hotel 100%👍🏼

The hotel blends in with the local village and is extremely well maintained, established planting and lovely restaurant and bar areas. The rooms are in separated areas again blending in and making it feel very natural. The rooms are modern, very well equipped and spacious.The owner, Robert, and his team were excellent and couldn’t do enough to make our stay great, from reception on arrival to security helping us with our bags for an early departure, they were alway friendly, interested in what we were doing, made us feel special. The food was buffet style and loads of choice, the local seafood was excellent, again the chef and staff were on hand to help and explain the dish, lots of knowledge , good omelettes in the mornings too. Drinks choice was good too, nice wine list, not silly prices. Overall 10/10, great location for trips tours, go to La Digue , the National Park, great beach and sea.

Only one thing that would be an improvement would be helping guests understand how to get a table in the restaurant when it gets a bit busy, which wasn’t that often, guests arrive at the restaurant from all directions from their rooms, some wait to be seated, others just sit down , itcan cause a bit of a challenge to the waiters. Would suggest that guests are asked to wait for a member of the team to seat them. More of a suggestion that something we didn’t like 👍

Large room, very comfortable, great pools, buffet food pretty good overall

Customer service and communication with the hotel was pretty bad overall. The customer service generally detracted from the beautiful rooms and location and lessened our enjoyment on our honeymoon. They also have a policy that 2 people can’t sit at a larger open table. So we were forced to wait at the beach restaurant for lunch when a table for 4 was open. It remained empty for more than 2 hours while we ate and went to the beach in front of it. It would be different if anyone else had been waiting for a table, but no one was.

There was a specific day when we were eating a wrap at the Cafe das Artes restaurant located in the hotel and an employee asked us to leave the place where we were because he "needed to tidy up for other people". There was no one waiting and the restaurant was empty. We got the impression that it was because we were sharing the wrap due to the high cost of eating in Seychelles

Le Duc has exceeded our expectations every time. It’s perfectly located on a peaceful white sandy beach, surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden with flowers, trees, statues, and fountains. Robert, the owner, is a fantastic host—warm, attentive and always helpful. When our drone got stuck in a 30-meter tree, the amazing garden team (Shimul, Rafat, Rajib, and Likhon) went out of their way to retrieve it. The food was delicious, with a great variety and a beautifully decorated buffet. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to waiters Saman and Mohammed, the always-smiling Krisha, and many others who made our stay even better. Valentines Day was fantastic. Our ocean-view room was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. The lighting had multiple settings and the ceiling fan was a great addition. We also appreciated the welcome drink, beach bag, wine, fresh fruit, and water waiting in our room. Don’t miss beach party! :-) We highly recommend La Duc and can’t wait to return!

For our vacation, these weren’t major issues, but a few improvements could enhance the experience: - Beach towel service directly at the beach for convenience. -As the recycling system is still developing, placing dedicated bins for plastic bottles would be a great step, considering the large number used daily.
