We spent three nights at Côte d'Or Lodge in Baie Sainte Anne, and it felt delightfully like an Italian holiday—relocated to the Seychelles. From the warm atmosphere to the ever-available pizza for the kids, the experience had a charming Mediterranean flair. The management takes a hands-on, heart-first approach—you’re greeted not with formality but with familiarity. It’s the kind of place where you quickly feel more like a house guest than a hotel client. One particularly lovely touch? Afternoon tea with cake, served like clockwork. It’s a small gesture, but one that captures the lodge’s essence: simple pleasures, done with care. This isn’t a five-star luxury resort—and thankfully, it doesn’t pretend to be. It’s a place for easy days, sandy feet, and feeling at home by the sea.

The breakfast was not very rich, but was sufficient, fresh and tasty. There was a lack of fresh vegetables at dinner, but there was a variety of fresh fish and seafood delicacies. Very responsive and smiling staff. Many thanks to the staff for the help to organize a delicious surprise for my husband's birthday.

The free WiFi was not good and was accessible only in the restaurant. You have to pay a daily tax for WiFi for full access. The dinner was very short - only from 19:30 till 21:00.

The location is awesome. Lovely beach with warm water and white sand. Beautiful. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfasts were pretty good. Dinners were very good. Expect lots of good seafood. I thoroughly enjoyed my stat. I only wish the weather was better while I was there.

I had an amazing stay at this beachfront hotel! The views were absolutely stunning, and I couldn’t get enough of the breathtaking scenery. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and family-like, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

The hotel is on one of the main beaches on Praslin and it is possible to walk to the main town on the island along the beach if you fancy some different restaurants. The staff were attentive and polite.

The bathroom in the cabins doesn't have solid doors so make sure that you are familiar with your fellow guest as sound travels. A swimming pool would be good.

Wonderfully located along the beach with almost all rooms overlooking the sea, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cote d'Or Lodge. Nice food is served, rooms are very spacious and comfortable, staff absolutely friendly and helpful ready to assist with any issue. Not only we strongly recommend it but we feel it is one of the best reasonably priced options of the whole area.

wonderful place, nice staff, very good dinner. the managers, Marika and Matia are very helpful and attentive. They will help you with excursions, taxis, everything you need.

the beds are too hard . the hardest I've ever slept in . there is no entertainment in the evening.

The beachfront villa's are amazing. Quiet and spacious situated in the garden, spacious inside and 20m distance from the stunning Indian Ocean. All ameneties nearby. The beach is stretched along the Cote dÓr Lodge area with lots of beautiful palmtrees. The undeep water in front is so beautiful, you will need sunglasses to protect your eyes for the white sand and stunning blue sea. I will never forget this panoramic view out of my sunbed or sitting in the diningarea. Want to B active? Take for free one of the seakayaks and go out playing in the waves. The complete staff is like the blue water....soft and friendly like family, refreshing while being very helpfull, clear in every appointment. Thanks Petra, Sandil, Kiko and Marika and the rest of your staff. You are a great team, acting like a family in running every days business. Ask me to come back here? I will pack my suitcase immediately ;)

The sea view rooms was great. The beach is a dream come true. There must be very few beaches better than the ones in Praslin seychelles. The one here is a real beauty.

The food was average

I really liked everything. Very good food, clean rooms and wonderful beach. Very quit and super friendly stuff.

The sand flies are the hell. i recommended to bring some creme with and some after bite creme too.
