A heartfelt thank you to Sue, the owner, for her personal touch and presence throughout our stay - her passion for creating a peaceful and welcoming space was felt in every corner of the lodge. Marcele, the manager, was exceptional - attentive, friendly, and always willing to assist with a smile, making sure everything ran smoothly. Special mention must go to Arletta, whose kindness and quiet efficiency made us feel truly cared for, and to Ethan, the bartender, who brought great energy - always served with a friendly chat and a laugh. Heavenly views right at the lagoon, pictures dont do justice it is beautiful with Beautiful staff and lovely personalities.

Breakfast is on the menu and its just a no no, tiny glasses of juice,tiny tea cups. just change this breakfast to buffet for your guests. you will need to buy more juice and more tea or coffee , small portions of food ooh its just not nice.

- Staff went out of their way to make my son's birthday extra special by preparing a cheesecake and singing for him. It felt like home/family. - Well planned and coordinated outings - Exceptionally clean rooms - Great decor and styling of the rooms, It felt like we were in paradise. - Turn down (Spraying room with Mosquito repellent, the Mosquito nets and closing curtains.. -Marcelle, Sue, Reef, Lina, and the others, Thank you ao much for the warm welcome and hosting. - Delicious mocktails - Attention to detail. -Pictures do not do justice to the Lodge, you have to see the beauty with your own eyes.

- The cooking/food needs some improvement. - The road leading up to the Lodge is long and horrible/terrible. You need a 4x4 to get there.

Whatever expectations you have, they do not come close to how gorgeous and picturesque this property is. The pictures online really don't do it justice.

You NEED a 4x4 to get to the lodge from town. The restaurant service is verrrry slow.

Literally everything . From the moment we drove in to the warmest welcome from Zoey and the rest of the staff was beautiful. Sue and Marcelle communicated with such ease before my trip right through to the end. Cecile was a delight answering my questions and showing us around. The breakfast was always yummy and always accommodating to our likes. My partner and I was absolutely delighted with the experience we had and will definitely be back in the future. Also the location on the beach is a breeze it’s a walk away from Koko beach club which allowed us to have a romantic stroll and some time away to enjoy other places. Elton and Jose were also such a delight . My partner and Elton had a bromance .. Elton took such good care of us from drinks to serving us even came to our room when we passed supper time to ask us if we will be having supper and place our order for us He is definitely a gem

The breakfast was great, the beach was amazing, and the pictures don't do this place justice. We had a lovely stay. The rooms were clean, staff was very helpful always.

the roads leading to the property are not good. the vehicle was stuck in the road due to too much sand or soil and kept sliding backward to a point where we had to get out and direct the driver to a better path this was after midnight in a foreign country you can imagine how scared we were. we got lost for almost 2 hours, and our GPS kept jumping and leading us in circles. The road sign to the resort could be a little bit bigger and clearly marked. we had to get out of the car to read the signs.

Amazing place!! Strong points: new lodge, super clean, paradisiac beach, relaxing environment, friendly staff, excellent position with private beach. Back in December when we stayed we had power cut 1 of the nights and honestly it was hard without AirCon. No perks were offered for that inconvenience. That is the only reason why we cannot give a 10. However In complex we had a great stay. We recommend it!

I liked the cleanliness of their rooms, restaurants and the entire facilities. The house keeping went out all their way to arrange romantic room on my birthday and my friend birthday. The staff service is excellent, beyond 100%. They went all out their way to make us feel at home. We are definitely coming back soon with our kids. It was indeed value for our money. Thank you once more to Mukumbura Lodge staff and the entire team. Keep up the good service.

I don’t want to say the road to their lodge, because the same morning after we arrived they went to fix the road. I mean we arrived after midnight and by 07h00am the staff was already out to fix the road. The service is just exceptionally, I have never received such even from a 5-star hotel.

The food, more variety could do. I would think the government is responsible for the roads so I if the business people can get together to present their request to the government to fix the roads. So this is not necessarily a review about the property just the road to get to the property is really not nice and the boards directing to the property are not very clear.

The staff and the views were amazing, having an almost private beach was exceptional, overall the place is very well taken care off, everything works well and looks neat and clean.

Restaurant could be better and having AC on the room. Restaurant could improve on the variety of dishes, most dishes use same flavour sauce which after few meals feels like your eating same thing. Breakfast options need to be improved for the price range.
