While our stay was enjoyable, a few minor issues are worth noting: there were some insects in the room, the hot water was not available, and the nearby beach could be cleaner. These did not ruin our experience but may be important for some guests.

Our stay at Red Sand was exceptional. The family running the place was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was beautiful, with a terrace offering sea views and fishing boats in the distance. Breakfast was excellent — freshly cooked each morning with several options to choose from. The location is a bit outside the main town (about 15 minutes by scooter), but that makes it peaceful and relaxing. Scooters can be rented directly from the hotel, which was very convenient. Everything about this place was perfect — we would have stayed longer if we could.

A fabulous place to stay - really tastefully decorated and our room, with an enormous outdoor bath, was amazing! Felt incredibly luxurious without feeling naff! Loved lying in the bath at night, staring at the stars abd listening to the geckos. Great inclusive breakfast which set us up for the day. Really friendly staff and we would have loved to stay longer. Great beach just 200m away which we had completely to ourselves ( amazing shells!) with water so unbelievably warm. We used grab cars ti get around ( which were easy using their app) and are each night at the restaurant just up the lane run by a really friendly lady who spoke very good English. Dat, the owner of the hotel, helped us book our taxi to HCM airport and we felt really safe and confidant about getting to the airport in good time.

Absolutely in love. I know hidden gem gets thrown around a lot in reviews but this is real. It's away from the main part of Mui Ne. Less than 10mins ride from the Hanh Cafe sleeper bus drop off point. And it is also off the main road. So it nice and peaceful. And when you step in, oh my gawd, the space is truly gorgeous. Multiple rooms scattered around the villa in different configurations and on different floors. Each room is furnished beautifully with a calm and relaxation in mind. My room came with a huge outdoor bath area and huge bathtub too. Each room had a small patio to chill at, mine even came with a hammock. Nice pool to tan at with a small bar by the side. Large breakfast area, and also a lounge area at the front of the property. The staff will check you in and the owner will also drop you a text to give some info. You can rent a scooter with them or have them arrange transport for you. But Mui Ne traffic is easy and safe to navigate via scooter. There's a restaurant less than 200m away, owned by the same owner of the villa, that serves a variety of dishes both local and international. There's a cafe out on the main road if you need your coffee fix. Red Sand Dunes is 5mins away. White Sand Dunes is about 30mins away. The property is very individual and unique. The host Hong is amazing. Very kind and helpful. Pool is great and the breakfast plus food is available throughout the day. Taxi ride is available from red sands compatible with Grab. Good service. It’s about 20 mins into Mui Ni strip which is OK but not great. We visited a local beach which was recommended but very bizarre. Visitors just taking insta photos, had to purchase a drink to enter and limited food option. The drive there is also bizarre past many abandoned hotels and resorts. Apparently Mui Ni has major issue with coastal erosion and lot of hotels have pulled out of the area.

The location is extremely isolated. There is 1 local restaurant which is great selling Vietnamese food but otherwise street shops selling soft drinks , crisps and street food. The beach is deserted and full of plastic and advisable not to visit. Outside the property the surrounding area is very local, lots of abandoned property and waste ground, litter, graffiti and more dumped plastic. Burning rubbish also seen near the hotel .

The room was spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. There were six breakfast options to choose from and we even arranged for a bbq dinner - fresh catch of the day by local fisherman that was very value for money. We didn't have enough cash on hand but could accumulate various bills for transport/food/beer on tab and pay with our credit card before we checked out. Staff are friendly, accommodating, and proactive in making sure we were well taken care of.

We paid more for a room with a huge tub, but the water pressure and the heating would never have made it possible for the tub to be filled sufficiently, so we gave up very quickly. The pool is small and likely comfortable only for a group or two to be inside at once. We were woken up on Sunday morning by loud religious music playing in the living area, which was strange.

The property is better than the pictures! it is a stunning location within small village outside of main tourist area of Mui ne. Very quiet and relaxing. The rooms and beds are luxury. All the features were incredible including the bathrooms, shower and bath. My son loved the pool!

About 200,000Vd with Grab to get to township/centre of Mui Ne - but we were traveling by car. Much less expensive by bike or if you can ride there are scooters for rent at the villa. The villa can help with transport in car and is less expensive. The red bus is very cheap and easy to use once you figure it out and there are stops along the road.

Even better than the pictures! The design of the hotel and the rooms is very pleasant to the eyes. I felt like I was in the movie Dune. Everything was well thought out and very clean. The bed was super comfy. You could even hear the waves. I loved the outside shower and spa bath with view of palm trees and the sea (and stars at night!). The lighting and smell of the room were great too and really made me feel comfortable. The hosts were lovely and helpful, and the home cooked veggie pho was one of the most delicious I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back to stay here.

It's a little further away from the main town and touristy area, so there are limited food options in walking distance nearby, but once you rent a motorbike (available from the hotel) everything is easily reachable within 10-20 mins, so not really an issue. Suggestions for possible improvement: - a second comfortable seating option in the room besides the bed (like a sofa, or adding cushions to the window seat) - making the TV a smart TV

This is a great lodge with big rooms and really well designed and incorporated with nature. It’s 10-15 minutes outside of the main part of Mui Ne but I think that’s a plus since it’s quieter and there’s still a few good family-run restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff and owners are the nicest, most hospitable people I’ve met and they alone are reason enough to stay here. Can’t recommend it enough.

This is remote and quite nice place. The staff is very helpful: what would we do without google translate!!)) They organized a dinner with fresh seafood for us. That was lovely (for sure you need to pay for it) Just around the corner is nice local restaurant, small market, where you can buy fresh seafood in the morning. The staff also help us to rent a bike and did a small tour. So, you can ask the owner of any kind of support and he will do his best!

We plan to swim in the sea, but as this is a small fishing village the sea is not clean, a lot of rubbish…
