I have stayed there between 13th and 16th of January 2025. I liked the location, close to Bistrita and to many other tourist attractions that are in the area( Colibita Lake, Sangeorz-Bai, Etc.). The rooms and bathrooms are really clean. The staff is very friendly and eager to help or answer all of your questions. There is parking available in front of the Hotel and if that is full you have plenty of parking spaces next to the hotel in a dedicated area. The food was good, we have arrived hungry and the staff was able to provide us with healthy and tasty food, for which we are deeply grateful. The breakfast was also good with plenty of food to choose from. All in all I really enjoyed my stay at Hoterl Poarta Transilvaniei, I will stay there in the future if the need arises and I will recommend it to other friends and family.

We did not had any unpleasant experience or unsatisfactory service. All was very good.

The receptionist was so kind and helpful. The room was really clean and pleasant. The bed was really comfortable AND THE PILLOWS WERE THE BEST. Jacuzzi worked fine and even had soap for bubbles 😂. It was great overall!

Very noisy, somebody al 4 a.m for one hour just walking and singing ,then u can hear hear all neighbors speaking, we couldn't sleep.

Big and clean rooms.

At our arrive, in the room was cold, the heating system was closed and there was a terrible smell in the entire room, the smell was from the bathroom, and even with the bathroom door closed the room was stincky smell. :(

Quiet place, clean and comfortable. Stuff was non English speaking but there were no problem with communication as they are eager to help. Room fully equipped with all stuff you need (cosmetics, hair dryer, mini fridge) Good price and good place for staying. Parking available on the spot, mini market in the same building.

There is no elevator but it wasn't a problem for us. The only minus was that the anti-slip mat under the shower was moldy on one side and it was visible and uncomfortable. Breakfast could be more varied. Too soft bed for our taste but it is not a problem, just for your information

We stopped here on our way to the north of the country and for one night it is a good place to stay. The location is good, the bed and rooms are big and the facilities are also good overall.

The mattress of the bed wasn’t that comfortable nor quality. The shower is a bit small. Chairs look dirty.

Everything was amazing !

The room was very nice, big, the colours of the wallpaper matching the drapes, the carpet, etc. In the bathroom very cleen, nice colours, good towels Food at the restaurant was excellent, tasty, But they don't serve alcohol, it was st Mary and we wanted to celebrate.

The outside of the building needs to be refurbished. It seems a little bit old.
