Mango home is a unique experience. It's well off the regular tourist trail but worth the effort to get there. The staff are very thoughtful and helpful, wanting you to enjoy your stay. Make sure you have everything you need before you get there as relatively isolated. It's located by the river in lovely gardens. You have a pool with and parasols to relax on. Pool towels are provided. There is also the sunset lounge with various games to play eg pool table along with loungers, hammocks, and chairs to relax on. You can also get drinks there in the evening. The restaurant cooks food to order & it was delicious the 3 evenings we stayed. You have to wait while it's cooked, but sitting over looking the river, that's no hardship. The communication from the resort was excellent before arrival. This helped us to get a local bus from Saigon to Ben Tre, followed by a free mini bus to within walking distance of Mango. The staff also organised for us to get a taxi and then a bus to Chau Doc to get the fast boat to Cambodia. We couldn't have done it without them. We enjoyed the sunset cruise along the river. There are free bikes at Mango, and you can do a route of about 10 km from the resort. The first part is on the busy main road, so it is not for first-time cyclists. The bathroom was huge, although it's slightly open to the elements, which is interesting! You don't need to do anything but relax at Mango.

After the mini bus drops you off, it's still about a 15-minute walk from the main road to the resort. This was hard going in the heat of the day with heavy rucksacks. I would contact Mango and ask them to pick you up in their golf buggy. The laundry and food are a little bit more expensive, but it all evens out with the price of staying at Mango.

Probably the best hotel in Vietnam that we have experienced. Top quality, cleanliness, quality air conditioning, and top staff. If you want to experience the Mekong Delta, this is the ideal starting and returning point. Service that you will rarely experience anywhere. Sincerity, comfort and help, where you feel at home. We extended our stay ourselves. There was no problem with anything. We will definitely be happy to come back. The location is one of the best, friendliest in Vietnam, where even students are happy to greet you in English and chat with you. Who expects false tinsel, do not go to Vietnam. There are other destinations for that. People here are modest, extremely hardworking and happy. If you want to get to know the authenticity of the Vietnamese countryside, ask the staff who will be happy to help you rent scooters, which are not easy to find in this location, and drive through the Mekong Delta so you don't see the world only from Facebook. It's really different from Saigon or the lucrative beach resorts. Otherwise

Staff kindly helped to us to make fly tickets to Phu Quoc. We feel sorry for our decision, we would like to stay longer 🥲

The location was some distance from but on the other hand it was quiet (You pays your money you takes your choice). With the exception of the things mentioned below everything was wonderful, especially the room and the staff.

The properrty offers boat tours but as far as I could tell they were all private. As a sole traveller I would have had to pay twice or as much as four times the usual rate. I found the background music in the restaurant somewhat annoying.

We had an amazing stay at Mango Home Village and Cruises. The staff were so friendly and helpful that it felt as if we were staying with friends. We celebrated my wife's birthday here, with the foodie tour as the highlight of the day. Ben (the hotel manager), Bao (the assistant manager), Diep (the best guide we’ve ever had), and the head waiter all joined to make sure everything went seamlessly. The tour was incredible, and my wife said it was her best birthday in years! We tried delicious local specialties—including fried frog—and the staff even arranged a birthday cake and celebrated with us. We also joined another tour where we visited a local rice wine producer and a woman who makes rice paper crackers in her home. This gave us the most authentic local experience we could have wished for. There are so many things to praise about this resort: its spacious and comfortable rooms with authentic character, the delicious food and cocktails, and its beautiful gardens. But what truly makes this place unique is the staff, who are genuinely enthusiastic about sharing their beloved culture and making every guest feel special. People like Diep, Bao, and Ben made our holiday in the Mekong Delta an unforgettable experience that we will cherish for many years to come. For us, the Mekong Delta was the highlight of our three-week trip to Vietnam—thanks entirely to Mango Home and its excellent team. I hope many other guests will have the chance to experience this as well

Quiet restful location (not for those who want to be within walking distance to restaurants and shops). It is a cute small scale resort with a nice pool and bar/lounge area with a pool table, fussball and some board games, as well as hammocks to relax. There is a happy hour (bucket of 4 beers or buy 3 cocktails get one free). The selection of food is quite vast which is a good thing if you stay several days and remain at the resort. Dishes were overall good. The included breakfast buffet included fruits, banana bread and other pastries, ham, cheese, salad, an egg counter and on one of the days there was also a beef pho counter (unfortunately not there everyday if our stay). The partially outdoor bathroom is very spacious and original! The homemade soap and shampoos a bonus. The bed had a mosquito net which was useful. The staff was very friendly. And the overall decor was in harmony with the landscape of the Mekong Delta. We recommend!

The wifi was spotty and the hot water was not working well at least in our room.

Situated in a beautiful lush tropical garden, Mango Home is serenity and bliss, just 15 km away from the Ben Tre city center. Our room was very nice and sparkling clean. Staff is young and still learning, but very kind and helpful, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and safe. They have a 24/7 hotline for any help you might need with your travel. We booked their 1-day Ben Tre tour and had a lovely 4+ hours through the villages, visiting small scale industries and learning about the life of the people living near the river. Our guide was very knowledgeable and attentive (she also presented us with many facts about tropical plants, when she realised that we are interested in tropical flora). We used 4 types of transportation - boat, bicycle, tuk-tuk and sampan and had some tea and coconut candy in a local garden. It was a very pleasant day! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and to chat about Vietnam and our travels. They are very hospitable and treat every guest with respect and courtesy. I warmly recommend Mango Home!

the whole place was had everything. beds comfy, air conditioning, restaurant, clean rooms, fridge jug some had baths. romantic, lovely people,. you turn up they help with your luggage, take you to your room with a golf cart. they are just a skip away but it was one of those extra things that make it special. Many areas to just lay back and relax.Oh and the pool was clean̈. They also had tours and helped with anything you needed. it's one of the places you would go back to it's the extras they do that makes it special. just one thing that needs to be said is the mango smoothies, they are the best.

We extended our stay for a further four nights at Mango due to a change in travel plans but we were glad to have more time there and could have stayed longer as we made use of the free bikes and hired a motorbike in Ben Tre. Rooms were comfortable and ours looked out over the pond towards the river and sunset. Breakfasts were good as were the evening meals (just as well as there was nowhere else to go to eat without getting a taxi or motorbike. Staff were polite but English was sometimes a struggle which made communicating a challenge. The manager, Ben, is extremely helpful and speaks good English and has an ability to remember guests' names which is always nice.

Had we not had the motorbike which enabled us to explore more of the area, it would not have taken long to run out of things to do as Mango is some way out of Ben Tre (although plenty of guests seemed content to spend time around the pool). Mango directs guests to AZMoto for motorbike hire but there are other places. AZMoto is adequate but there is no English version of the hire agreement and helmets are very poor and inadequate (missing chin straps, cracked or no visor, and worst of all cracks in the main helmet itself).

This is a little gem tucked away in the network of paths and waterways of Ben Tre. A small resort with well-appointed rooms, a swimming pool, restaurant, bar plus extras such as basketball court, pool table... Lots of bicycles you can borrow at no cost to go exploring. I loved my room; I loved the style and I had air conditioning, tea & filtered water, an umbrella for those tropical downpours, and a mosquito net (though I didn't see any mosquitos). My bathroom was huge and open air, so had a lush feel, especially when the rain seemed down one wall into the bathroom's garden. Breakfast was included in the room price and was fresh and plentiful. Several different fruits, salad, eggs, bread, cakes, meats etc The Mango team were very helpful, calling taxis, researching spas, and generally pre-empting my needs. All this for a very reasonable price.

Wonderful oasis right by the Mekong river. We loved the gardens, the pool, watching the sunset on the deck whilst chilling in a hammock, the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, a special shout out to Ben who was absolutely lovely ☺️. There are free bikes to use, however, we didn’t manage to go far as the main road was really busy with scooters and trucks so chose not to venture out too far.

The area around mango home was not particularly appealing and we felt a bit stuck inside the resort, which wasn’t too bad because it was such a lovely place. Restaurant was a bit on the expensive side, food was lovely though and there is a vegan menu which we really appreciated.
