I stayed about 3 weeks and I liked the hotel so much I was genuinely sorry to leave. I am looking forward to returning. My room, 1004: Spacious and luxurious. View: Neighborhood, Ben Tre River and rural scenes. More than adequate seating and lots of storage for luggage and the other items one would travel with. Big and usable space in the closets and lots of hangers. Bed: Wide, long, and really comfortable. Medium firmness mattress and pillows. Bedding was high quality and very comfortable. Bathroom: Spacious with deluxe features and appointments. Lots of hot water and a rainfall shower as well as other shower configurations and a large tub. Cleanliness: 10 out of 10 for hygiene, sanitation. Housekeeping staff kept the room in pristine condition. Air conditioning: Perfect placement and quiet operation. Quiet: The room, the hotel, and the neighborhood were very quiet and the setting was tranquil. Building and facilities: Lovely looking 5th floor outdoor swimming pool with comfortable lounge chairs and a comprehensive view of the neighborhood, river, and rural areas. Secure parking for bikes and vehicles. The elevators worked flawlessly. Security cameras and in person security personnel were dependable and effective in the public areas throughout the property. Location: Across the street from the Ben Tre River and bridge, landing/dock and river boats. Bike rental less than 2 blocks away. Extensive and interesting local market across from the hotel and blocks of small local businesses on two sides of the hotel. Neighborhood: Interesting and safe. Breakfast buffet: Large variety; both Asian and Western. 5th floor restaurant with lovely view. Food quality satisfactory and tasted delicious. The lobby reception and guest services staff, management, and the housekeeping staff were exceptionally helpful, accommodating and gracious. Special thanks to Mr. Tan and to hotel management and supervisory staff. You made my stay exceptional, and I can’t wait to come back.

Nothing. I thought this hotel was a real find among all hotels where I stayed in various locations in Vietnam (about 15). Diamond Stars Ben Tre was by far my favorite.

This hotel was in a great location. It was the tallest building in town so you could see it from anywhere the views of the river and the city were exceptional. I really loved my balcony, and the room was very spacious and clean.

I didn't care for the beverage services. The beverage service manager was rude and they did a horrible job. The beverage services staff was not well-trained. It took eight or nine of them to serve one beer. They had a ridiculous cork fee for a bottle of wine and they didn't know how to open the bottle of wine and broke the cork and had to push it inside the bottle. The prices for a beer were seven times the regular price. Myself and another couple were the only people in the bar restaurant area, and they had eight or nine servers working who were all talking to each other instead of doing their job, which in one case, took over ten minutes to get one beer.

Excellent luxury experience for an amazing value. The breakfast was amazing everyday. Loved the room and comfy bedding. Laundry service was fast and expert in cleaning my dress.

There was a runner light in the bathroom that never turned off. Bartenders are not well trained here. They didn’t know most drinks, there was a poor selection of spirits and you could not order wine by the glass (you had to buy the entire bottle of very small selection)! Cork fee is $250,000! A bit ridiculous when they don’t offer many choices in drinking wine.

Everything exceeded our expectations. Our rooms were spotless, clean, and beautifully furnished. Came with all the amenities you may need and a beautiful view of the river and market down below. If there's anything extra you need, the staff is a phone call away. The complimentary breakfast came with lots of delicious options and local specialties. The pool was spacious and clean, with a nice view of the city below - great spot to relax and cool down after a humid day. All the staff were super helpful and friendly which was much appreciated. And the location of the hotel is central to everything so it was really easy to arrange pickups / drop offs for rides. There's a market / night market right across from the hotel so we were never short on things to snack on. 10/10 would definitely stay here again next time!

Nothing. Everything was great!

The staff were incredible: polite and helpful to the extreme. I even forgot some items in the room, which I only discovered after having reached another city. They managed to courier them to my location within a day or so, with personalised attention from one of the staff. Amazing! Very central location, right next to the river, and near the marketplace. Ben Tre itself is less than exciting, but that's another issue.

Needs some upkeep here and there.

The rooms were very clean and spacious, had a beautiful view and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well. The bathroom included a magnifying mirror which was really nice and the hotel staff were attentive, lots of table space and bright lighting, also had great wifi speed.

When we went, the gym was undergoing renovation and we couldn’t use it, the variety at the breakfast buffet was very small, needs improvement and better range.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great. Rooms were very clean and beds very comfortable. Good sized rooms as well (had twin room). Great view from the restaurant with the pool beside it. Good value for money.

The pool closes very early (7pm) and you could not take drinks into the pool as they were worried about broken glass.. They should serve the drinks in reusable plastic cups, as it would be a perfect spot in the evenings to lounge in the pool with friends whilst sipping cocktails. For a 5 star hotel, it lacked a gym (which is opening soon according to their website). Also, the top floor bar was not opened yet.

The staff are lovely and very helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable and had views over the river. It was a very affordable 5 star experience. The reception supervisor was so helpful, booking a tour and the transfer to Can Tho for us. The time at the hotel was very restful. (Posted this review twice as we booked two rooms as a family of 4)

Amazing room, with huge windows on three sides of the room offering a splendid view of the river and the city (11-th floor). Huge bathroom with a window to the bedroom, multiple and spacious wardrobes, comfortable beds. Extremely attentive and helpful staff, varied and tasty breakfast Very good Wi-Fi, we had coverage even outside the hotel

It is a new hotel, close to markets, and had a delicious breakfast buffet. We had a very nice view of the river. Beds were also super comfortable.

We have a family of 4 but there were only choices for a room for 2 adults. We chose a room with 2 double beds that could fit our family. We had to pay extra for our kids to stay with us.
