ALL of property was pristine. Room, access was really appreciated as I am mobility challenged. The bed was super comfortable, with an ample supply of clean fluffy towels, and the free 50" TV with cable was a cherry on the top. The room temp was comfortable and controllable. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of things that included really good fresh coffee, bagels, cinnamon buns and a waffle maker and microwave in a well-organized and clean area. I opted for coffee and a bun for my morning drive. AND, the price was surprisingly affordable!!

Very little, but the Motel, LIKE 3 OTHER MORE EXPENSIVE ONES, is next to a major highway so there was, but not overwhelming, road noise. Although the room temp was comfortable and controllable, the fan noise from the AC was a little loud. and was my only complaint that made it a 9 and not a 10.

They accommodated my request to be close together but only for 3 rooms. I don't know if it is because I specified King beds but one person was quite a few rooms away. It did work out well that we were street level. One traveler used a walker/cane and wanted to be low.

Street/highway noise is a problem. The air conditioner is not easy to work. I wanted constant blowing and it would not program to do this. It would have helped with white noise to drown out the road noise.

Don't let the stereotypical motel exterior fool you. The King room was nearly perfect. Big comfy bed, clean bathroom and shower (I liked the square shower head), 65-inch TV, room A/C NOT on an outer wall. Parking spots just outside the rooms made unloading/loading the car quick and easy. If you're in the Lake Truman area, this is the place to stay.

Locating is near the Local Walmart and several restaurants.

The swimming pool is too close to the busy Hwy 7 and was a deep shade of green, making it completely unusable. The breakfast was a typical offering, however the biscuits were sitting out instead of in a warmer and the gravy was not very hot. A few second in the microwave made it edible.

The staff, especially Sam was extremely friendly. They took care of their guests well. The room was spacious and had everything we needed.

Everything was pretty good they could pay a little more attention to cleaning the doors and corners / baseboards a bit better. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again.

It was one of the nicest older motels I have stayed in. The renovation was done well. Staff was nice and does a great job keeping the place clean. I will stay here again and recommend it from what I experienced. I support old motels when I travel.

Nothing can be done with the road noise during busy traveling times. Night noise was not terrible from 10pm to 5am. I slept well.

It was a charming little hotel. The pool was nice, although we only got to dip our feet in it as we were on a biking trip and we checked out what Clinton had to offer in the few hours we were here.

The breakfast could’ve had a few more items , if you know what I mean.

This is a great little place to stay for visiting the lakes. It’s family owned and operated. Great location to stop for rest from KC. Great hot water pressure and the room looked just like the Hilton when I was sleeping . They have boat trailer parking, no turnaround. Easy in out. If you’re looking a breakfast buffet go pay more. Fresh fruit, packaged pastries and a cup of coffee is what to expect.

Coffee cups coffee could be bigger.

We were so happy to find this hotel in a snow storm. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable although a little worn. For the price, it exceeded our expectations.

Walls a little thin or maybe people next door were a little loud.

Breakfast was ok, but could have a little more variety. Location was fine.

Not having the air conditioner right where you were trying to do your hair would have been nice. Also, the smell in the room was not real pleasant.
