We had a family stay at The Planet Munnar Resort, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and hygienic. We reached the resort around 2 PM, and at 4 PM we went on a guided 3 km up-and-down trek to a hillside. The guide was excellent, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Later, at 7:30 PM, the campfire started — it was such a fun and relaxing experience. Early morning at 4 AM, there's an off-road jeep safari to witness the sunrise, and the view was stunning. Both the dinner and the morning breakfast were delicious(breakfast was included on the package). The resort also has a hygienic swimming pool and a well-maintained kids’ play area, which makes it perfect for families. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I would highly recommend The Planet Munnar Resort to anyone visiting Munnar. Our stay at THE PLANET was exceptional.. We reached the property at night and in the morning we woke up with an amazing view of luscious tea plantation .. Staffs were friendly. They have arranged jeep for kollukkumalai sunrise .The total cost for kollukkumalai jeep safari is INR 3500.00 ..However we (me n my husband) paid only INR 1400 as we shared with other guests (Total of 5 )..They also guided us to the nearby sights like 1800 m zipline , 600 m zipline and Elephant Abode dam.. They have also arranged evening trekking to phantom hills to view sunset which is complimentary Food was delicious and worth the money ...We as a couple spend only INR 900 for each meal (lunch /dinner , breakfast is complimentary).. If you want an escape from the city life and indulge yourself in the tranquility of nature , this property is definitely recommended

Planet Munnar is located in a serene, remote part of the picturesque Suryanelli hills. Very good for a break from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The property is charming, well laid-out and the rooms are spacious, with good decor. My daughter used the swimming pool and liked it. Quality of food (breakfast and dinner) was good. The staff was helpful and polite. They helped arrange a cab driver to take us around for sightseeing. Campfire in the evening was a bonus. The property is still expanding and some construction is ongoing; once everything is done, I think Planet Munnar will potentially be a great place to stay at.

The resort seemed understaffed. The staff primarily spoke Malayalam, and managed broken Tamil and Hindi. Dinner needs to be ordered 2-2.5 hours in advance. Since I had no mobile signal (Airtel) in that area, I was dependent on the hotel wifi for connectivity. Wifi was down for most of our stay (apparently because of a broken fiber caused by the construction workers); while this provided me much needed digital detox, I was unable to send a simple "We are safe and fine" message to family. At the fag end of our stay, water supply also was affected due to a pipe broken by the construction workers. I am sure that if these teething issues are addressed, Planet Munnar will be a very nice getaway.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Planet Munnar during my visit to the beautiful hill station of Munnar in Kerala. This tranquil retreat provided a serene escape from the bustling city life. The location of Planet Munnar was truly amazing which offers breathtaking views of the rolling hills. The rooms were spacious and has a nice ambiance. The staff at Planet Munnar were friendly and attentive and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The housekeeping staff maintained the rooms clean and maintains the high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. My over all experience with The Planet Munnar was truly memorable with a comfortable accommodation, friendly service and the beautiful places around. I would highly recommend Planet Munnar to anyone seeking getaway from the robotic life. I would haply return to The Planet Munnar on my next visit to Munnar.

Feeling happy to share my reviews on my memorable stay with my family. The ambience and hospitality were lovely and amazing. clean and very comfortable. Would like to recommend this resort for any tourist with family. It was an extremely comfortable stay. The rooms and beds were very conducive for sleeping especially for people exhausted from busy life. The staff is extremely polite, and the restaurant staff especially made the effort to cater to every request. Beautiful resort with heavenly view of Nature. The scenery is priceless indeed.

Breakfast was really good and satisfying . Their staff Vineesh was very welcoming and they arranged food for our son early as requested . Location is breathtaking and we look forward to visiting the place soon .

What an amazing stay at this beautiful resort!!!. Situated amidst the dense nature, one could sit in the balcony and enjoy the panoramic view which is the main attraction of this property. Great hospitality and well mannered staff made the stay even beautiful. We truly enjoyed the stay and highly recommending to everyone who is looking for a peaceful break. WiFi could have been better but let's pretend it's the 80's and have a conscious time in nature We literally saw hummingbirds there so poor WiFi no problem for me.
