A wonderful place near the cave and the Areni factory. It is very good to read books and admire the natural beauty by the mountain river near the hotel. The hotel has excellent modern rooms according to all standards of convenience and quality, a chic bathroom with a jacuzzi (well, if you have a Deluxe room::)). Walking around the entire territory there are many different interesting locations (khachkar, different varieties of grapes, tables under the trees...) The hosts are polite and hospitable, always working, and there are a lot of plans for development around the hotel. In general, I recommend it. Now in the village of Areni there is a great place to stay!

The hotel is new, no shortcomings noted.

Breakfast was excellent, all locally sourced food of exceptional quality. The owners made our mini break special and ensured that we were comfortable, going over and beyond and exceeding our expectations. The Areni Lodge certainly is a hidden Armenian gem, I would advise any traveller to brighten their vacation by booking this hotel, you won't be disappointed! Armineh and Len we will be returning!!

I cannot identify any negatives whatsoever.

The owners, Len and Armina are an Australian-Armenian couple. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Armenia in general and the local highlights in particular. Communication is super easy in perfect English, which is a rarity in Armenia. The hotel is a home from home, in a garden next to a river with magnificent views of the magnificent mountains. I stayed at the Areni Lodge for three nights and highly recommend it.

Nothing to complain about!

The hosts are a husband and wife team that treat you like family the moment you walk through the door. They gave us a full tour of their property, answered many of our questions related to Armenia's history, and even gave us a free bottle of their homemade wine made from the famous Areni grape before we left. Also.. did I mention the location?? The view from our bedroom would have made you think we were in Sedona, except even better it was Armenia! The hotel was right on a beautiful river situated below a huge and gorgeous cliff, it was our own little corner of paradise. The hotel was also situated close to other wineries, restaurants, etc. (one of which we had a private cooking class with!). Lastly, the room itself was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and the room let in great light along with a balcony that allowed us to sit out and enjoy our coffee in the morning while looking out to the river and cliffs. They even had a gym if you wanted to work out! This is definitely where we will be staying when we come back!

The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. The lodge is in a beautiful location with wonderful views from the private balconies. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating.

A restaurant for evening meal would have been good but we did have good recommendations for options from the owner and had a nice meal at Ar Areni Restaurant. I think that they are still sorting out some issues with the lift to upper floors but the owner is helpful taking bags up and down and the king suite is in ground level.

The whole experience was just beautiful. The story behind the building and why the owners are there is inspiring. It's not often you stay in a place that not only excels in hospitality but also has a genuine sense of purpose. Everyone was so friendly, the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was amazing, and the overall service, conversation, and vision were excellent. Would have happily stayed another day just to explore the grounds and pick the fruit in the orchard. Thank you both for a wonderful experience, we wish you all the best and hope to cross paths again.

Fabulous hosts, was lovely spending time with them. They are very informative on Aremina culture and have lots of community development projects. Very passionate about the natural environment of their spacious property. A joy to visit

Everythings great about this lodge. Lovely location next to a big mountain and a river. Owner was very helpfull and informative about the area. Breakfast was great too. I would love to visit again. And its a short drive to Noravank monastery and Areni cave.

The location, the service, the hosts were all amazing! The hotel grounds were interesting, with many wonderful details. My daughter didn’t want to leave! Definitely will return for a longer stay!

Everything was absolutely great!

The hosts make you a part of the place and you don't want to leave. The nature and the property are breathtaking. In the morning there is the best personally prepared and traditional breakfast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Thanks for the hospitality.
