Our cabin had a lovely balcony overlooking Streaky Bay, so we could sit and watch the pelicans and the sunset. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen facilities were really good.

The bathroom is very small so it would be a challenge with a family. And the Wifi continuously dropped out. If you had Optus you were ok, but no Telstra so when there was also no Wifi, it was a bit frustrating.

We absolutely loved our three nights here (should have booked extra nights)! Perfect weather with our cabin being right on the water. Everything in the cabin was “”like new” even though we were told about 7 yrs old. Everything you would need for fully self contained. Bedding, linen and bathroom facilities fabulous. We could not fault the facilities at all. Highly recommend a cabin by the water.

The location of our beachfront 1 Bedroom Studio was great - we could look out on the bay, and the water was only metres away. Our room was adequate for a 2-night stay.

We were surprised to find that our studio was one of 5 in a motel-style building - we thought we were going to be in a free-standing cabin. That misconception was probably our fault so we will need to check more carefully in the future.

Beautiful location overlooking the beach. Old unit but had everything we needed. Good heating and a nice fish and chip shop on site.

The unit is very old and superior, seems to be the wrong description. The kitchen and bathroom were clean, but rest really need a deep clean. I would book one of the newer units if available and in your budget.

Location and set up of the ocean front cabin inside was excellent. Lovely views from the deck and lounge, it was generally clean, comfortable and contemporary.

Very limited kitchen wear, eg snack/salad bowls ,platters and the worn chopping board and most knives weren't great. Biggest disappointment was the clean but useless bbq area near our cabin which was annoying given we'd shopped for its use. Finally, we were 20 mins late checking out and experienced unpleasantness from 1 key staff member. After spending 3 nights there ( in the most expensive cabins) a little civility and good customer service would not have hurt. It was hardly a crime and we were trying to leave the cabin clean.

Location was lovely. The superior cabin with lovely views of the bay. Small grassed area at the front. Cabin was nice but bed needs pillow top mattress when paying over $200 a night. A king would be superior to a Queen bed. Fish and chip shop onsite which was very convenient. Playground looked good for kids. A campfire on the beach looked good.

A cabin 20m from the Bay edge, unobstructed view - what's not to like. The tide needs to be monitored, whether you want to swim (high tide) or walk on the low tide sand. Well equipped motel-style cabins, full kitchen. Have a yarn with your neighbours through/over the patio screening - suits us. Bayside walk at the end of the Park.

The location of the beachside cabin is fantastic. The sea is right there. Exceptionally clean fittings which were pretty new. Comfortable bed and very comfy pillows. Nice full-length mirror in main bedroom. Kitchen equipment very good. Sitting out on the deck and enjoying the breeze and the view is great. Enough space between cabins to keep things quiet. Good hot shower.

The second bedroom, with bunks, can get overheated with just one person, let alone four. Needs a fan.

Location right on the beach. Cabin was modern. Would definitely stay again.

A really bad greeting by reception. Telling me i haven’t paid and I shouldn’t use booking.com but I should book direct and booking.com doesn’t work. Never known such a bad greeting! Things got better over the next few days and a new lady appeared at reception who was helpful when talking about road conditions.

Streaky Bay is a lovely town and the park was in walking distance to cafes and shops. Loved the beach right at the front and the fact that there were tables and hoses set up for all the fishers to clean their catch. Staff were friendly and helpful and great with recommendations on our forward trip.
