There’s frogs 🐸 inside the toilet pot and shower. Stayed at FF3 luxury tent. The road to the property is sandy, requires a 4x4 and advance driving. We got stuck in the sand on the way to the property, we got assisted by locals (young African boys) who demanded a lot of money🥲 The 4x4 private shuttle service was overpriced.

If you want to escape the buzz of Ponta D'Ouro and enjoy amazing views over the beach and ocean, that is the place to be. We traveled as a family with our two kids and two of their friends and booked the Glamping/ Luxury camp with three luxury tents sharing bathroom facilities around one fire place. It felt very private and the tents were truly amazing and equipped with great bedding, towels etc. Lunchbox, the paragliding activity master stood our from the team of staff as very child friendly and client oriented, although we were not even his customers as we were only there for two nights and had already booked a dolphin encounter.

At the time of our stay, they seemed to have been low on staff as food in the evening was very slow, we ended up waiting 1.5 hrs for our food which was not even a big or complicated order. When it arrived it was good. If the bar service was a bit more attentative, they would sell way more cocktails or drinks, as the setting is truly great. Non of this would however stop us from returning if we are in the area again.

A remarkable place, but you need to know what you're getting into. Rooms (tents) are in the jungle, the restaurant is on a cliff above the beach. You can walk down to the beach but it's a steep 15-20 minute hike. From the road, getting to the hotel requires a 4wd and even with a 4wd is challenging if you're not used to driving on sand. The jungle tents are 'glamping' style and a 10-minute walk from the hotel (depending which ones you stay in). But the jungle is quite full-on, you get the full jungle chorus all night -- which is lovely but there are lots of bugs that are keen to get to know you, especially at night if you leave a light on, including mosquitos which may have malaria so take your pills. The toilets and showers are nice but unprotected from the bugs/lizards/spiders. If you're not a nature person you may struggle. The whole setup is oriented to people paragliding off the cliff -- we weren't paragliding, so it was a bit odd (but everything else in the area was booked at Christmas). We were glad we stayed, it's a fascinating part of a fascinating country, the bars farther north are a real Boer-meets-Jimmy Buffet scene. But you are going to need to be keen on a full-on nature + 4wd experience. Seafood (shrimp) at the restaurant was tasty and fresh

Unbelievable value for money.We stayed in the delux tents. They are super comfortable and nestled in the most magical fairytale forest setting. Breakfast was included and it was incredible. Wish we had had time to do a paragliding trip. The staff were so friendly and without exception went out of their way to serve us.

Restaurant menu is very European. Would like to see more Mozambiquan items

The location and the beach are amazing. The view from the sea view tent is beyond compare and we ended up extending our stay to enjoy the surroundings for a while longer. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food is great although a bit pricey.

With a few tweaks in housekeeping and cleanliness of the room/tent amenities and service, the place would be perfect.

Breakfast was adequate, but not free for all guests. Make sure your package includes breakfast if it's important for you. Every staff member was friendly and very helpful. This hotel, I can say with confidence, is run well -- mostly.

No toiletries except for a bar of soap. No swimming pool. The walkways are unpaved, so too much sand and dust in the shoes (and in the rooms). Very rough access road (actually a narrow, winding sand path, full of steep gradients, through woods) from the main road (still a sand track, just wider), inaccessible except with a 4x4 off road vehicle. WiFi in rooms not working.

The fresh breakfasts and dinners were delicious. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The setting and surroundings were beautiful. The direct access to the beach and nearby restaurants and bars were enjoyable.

Sometimes the mosquitos managed to sneak into the tent and ate us alive. Some mozzie nets in the rooms might be helpful.

We stayed in the luxury tents, it had all the benefits of camping (wild sounds, ocean air) with all the comfort of a chalet (king size bed, lights, power points, wardrobe) & a private bathroom & self catering kitchen area (both open air, but private). The breakfast at the restaurant was amazing everyday, the staff were really attentive & welcoming. You have an incredible view of the ocean from the restaurant. Although a bit of a walk down and up the hill to get to the beach, I'm sure a bit strenuous to some, I enjoyed it and it made the drink at the top even more special. On Christmas day, the staff did a fantastic pork spit roast which was exceptional. I cannot speak more highly of this place & the people who work there.

Great place with amazing staff. The walk to the beach is very doable. It looks high but the pathway they created makes it very easy. Beach is simply amazing. The staff also needs mentioning. Amazing service all round.
