-Not the hostel's fault, but it's not near Taitung City (half hour way). -All of the nearest substantial food places are a bit of a walk away (in the heat). -Staff were helpful, but a stand-off-ish. -The other guests were mostly middle-aged Taiwanese people, and some of the older men had little awareness of their volume in the middle of the night/early morning.

The room was tiny, but it had a comfortable bed and separate bathroom. It's perfect, if you are really on your way and just need a bed to sleep.

The hostel was close to the train station, however 15 minutes drive from the city of Taitung by car. When we checked in, first they were telling us that we could only pay by cash. I was insisting to pay by card, since I booked the stay online, so they suddenly found their terminal to read a credit card. We didn't get any towels, so we had to dry ourselves with some of our clothes. The breakfast was 1 egg and some toast bread per person that we supposed to make ourself, so we rather droped it and bough some breakfast in the city.

Quiet location very close to the train station, nice and friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere

The original blanket was just a thin sheet, which was mentioned at check-in that if required a warmer blanket can be provided. If the blankets were within reach from the room it would be easier when I got cold during the first night. The staff was very nice the next morning when I asked for the blanket though.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at On My Way Taitung during my visit to the beautiful city of Taitung, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience! From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, but it was the staff, especially Yumi, who truly made this stay unforgettable. Upon arrival,The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met throughout my stay. Whether it was offering helpful suggestions for places to visit or assisting me with any inquiries, Yumi's attentiveness and dedication to providing outstanding service were evident at every turn. The rooms at On My Way Taitung were impeccable, and I was pleasantly surprised by their cleanliness and attention to detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing me with a restful night's sleep after a day of exploration. The decor was modern and tasteful, creating a calming ambiance that allowed me to fully unwind during my stay. The hotel's location was also ideal, as it provided easy access to Taitung's vibrant attractions and breathtaking scenery. On My Way Taitung served as the perfect base for my adventures. In conclusion, I highly recommend On My Way Taitung.I'm already looking forward to my next stay and the opportunity to be welcomed back by the wonderful team at On My Way Taitung!

Close to the train station, suitable for travelers who arrive by train late. The bed in the 4-bed room is cozy, spacious and with enough privacy. The common area is very comfortable to strike up a conversation with new friends. The check-in experience was good, with very detailed explanation on everything in the hostel. Very clean as well.

There is nothing I do not like. Though, it is a bit far from the Taitung city centre

Well organized. Easy check-in, tour of facilities helpful. Availability of laundry facilities. Proximity to train and bus stations. Free bicycles in good condition. Very helpful and warm folks running the place.

It's in a food desert. Little choice of restaurants without having transportation. I was there four nights and got tired of the same noodle place-although it was good.

Very nice new facility in an area where everything is new because of the new train station. Very comfortable room and bed. The shared kitchen and common area were great! The local loop bus makes it very easy to go to town.

Because of the location by the station sometime people arrive late, but they mostly try to be quiet.

Excellent hostel ideally located near the train station in Taitung. They have great bikes for guests free use, I rode one into town and through Taitung Forest Park. Highly recommend the accommodation here, the rooms are very clean and modern and the free breakfast was a nice touch. I made friends here with whom I travelled to Green Island. Stay here and you'll be well on your way to a great visit to Taitung!

Staff was super nice, good facilities and great atmosphere all around. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay over in Taitung for a night or two. Breakfast was to be made yourself and was lovely to do. The common room was really well used in general for relaxing, playing games, socialising, ...

Beds were a bit hard. Location is, as expected, far from the center of Taitung.
