We had to take a flight from Palermo Airport in the morning and decided to spend the night before somewhere near the airport. Terrasini seemed like a good option and la Ruota B&B looked nice. It turned out the B&B is located right on a very beautiful part of the coastline and had lovely views even from the ground floor room we used. La Ruota has its own parking area and is 5mins walk from the busier centre of town, which had a very vibrant atmosfere with lots of bars, cafes and restaurant along the main square and the streets that lead up to it. The room was spacious and confortable for the four of us, very clean and with modern facilities. Before leaving we really enjoyed breakfast on the terrace of the B&B, we had coffee (espresso and cappuccino) as well as a selection of small doughnuts and croissants and savoury items (mini pizzas). The man who looked after our stay was very kind, helpful and smiley!

Nothing, we were very satisfied! We stayed at La Ruota at the beginning of November, we were the only guests and everything was very quiet but can imagine the streets and and the B&B are probably very busy and lively during the warmer months.

To say that Mr. Nino can handle any request is an understatement. Exceptionally helpful, incredibly kind, and offering a level of hospitality that’s second to none. The location is perfect right in front of the cliffs and just steps from the town center, yet peaceful. Gluten-free options and a café bar are available, an absolute must!

The breakfast was simple but good, a bit too much sugar for our tastes. We always had breakfast and coffee even if we woke up "late". The host nino always made our coffee and brought us water. The terrace was cozy.

Other guests were a bit too loud, it wasn't too much of a nuisance but we woke up a few time. While Nino was a great host and we liked him very much his english was almost non-existant, altough we could use Google translate and he tried to answer every question.

We received a warm, friendly welcome from a very professional young man who went out of his way to make us feel at home. Our rooms were simple but extremely clean and comfortable with high quality linen and towels. La Ruota is well located - close to the beach with a very popular, well-priced trattoria next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay before departing Sicily from Palermo Airport.

Nino was an amazing host! He greeted us to help us get checked in and was very patient as we unloaded 9 peoples luggage. He even made fresh coffee while we got settled. The pastry and coffee breakfast was amazing! Would definitely stay again and parking was easy!

Really he has everything well planned and laid out so nothing that we didn’t like.

Location good and easy to find. Free parking in adjacent lot. Bed was OK. Room was clean. Has 2 bedside tables, suitcase stand for 2 suitcases, 2 opening windows, very good heat. Was quiet. Bathroom nice, slow hot water then good. Nice bathroom, shower is small but worked well except for loose holder for shower head. Breakfast was an fairly good "traditional" Italian breakfast Host was friendly and parking lot attendant guided us to his Brothers car wash. Rental car was very clean for e15

Staff were extremely friendly, nothing but positive. The location may look isolated, but it is far from. In about 10 minutes walk you are on the main square of the town. No fancy for a walk? There is a superb pizzeria right next door. Right accross the street is a magnificant view, amazing. Superb capuccino served at breakfast. One point of attention (but not a negative one): Not everyone fancies (only) sweets for breakfast. Not sure if this is typical Sicilian, but a slice of ham or salami or cheese would make it all more perfect. I recommend this b&b for sure!!

Nino was so kind, cheerful and helpful. It was right across from the beach and a lovely walk along the cliff over the sea. The town was charming and everyone was friendly. We popped into their local museum and found out what a "Ruota" is - hand carved, hand painted carts used historically for all kinds of work and celebrations. They had many beautiful examples. That made their property even more special to us.

nice location on the water. great if you need a place to stay by Palermo airport. I had some issues with flights and this was conveniently located nearby for me to spend the night and conquer a day of travel the next day. the wifi was strong and ac worked well. owner is nice and friendly and it’s great there’s a generous free mini bar with large waters and other drinks.

Excellent location - beautiful sunset across the street. Market down the street. Restaurant was excellent. Beautiful patio. Chiara and Nino were excellent hosts!!! We could not have asked for more hospitable locals!!! They went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Breakfast and coffee were excellent!
