The host was extremely helpful and contacted us to warn us about ferry strikes, even offering a free night of accommodation to travel the day before to ensure we could get there. Clean room with balcony and great location near everything you will need.

The shower had to be held and there was no screen or curtain so the bathroom got very wet. It was also a bit noisy with the road and rubbish collectors early in the morning. The breakfast was fine but could be improved.

The host was exceptionally hospitable and friendly.The staff as well. They definitely made our stay more pleasant and memorable! The hotel’s location is perfect having the super market and the beach within a few minutes walking. Compared to other hotels in the area it’s much more comfortable and renovated. The complimentary amenities and wonderful breakfast left little to be desired! You can tell they put love in what they do!

One thing that would help enhance our experience and comfort would be the shower as it could use some towel hangers and the fact that the water can escape to the whole bathroom floor was making us a bit anxious every time we used it.

The host was very welcoming and helpful! The room was clean,cozy and beautiful. The breakfast was very delicious and if we visit the island again we will be choosing Golden Star again!

The location is really good. It takes only few minutes to the beach and the center of the village so I would say everything is under your fingertips:) the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and has a big balcony with the yard view

well, the photos on the website has nothing to do with the reality. Probably, that was only my room that didn't match the photo 🤭 I would suggest to post photos of other rooms as well so customers are not going to have a high expectations. But being honest, we are not supposed to stay in the room 24h so in overall it was good

The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the centre of Agia Marina, which is perfect because everything is within reach but there is little to no noise from the street. The room was about what we were expecting, adequately if a bit scarcely furnished. Cannot overstate the hospitality and the kindness of the staff, however! Giorgos was always at our disposal, providing helpful local information and going to lengths to help us with car rental, beside already doing everything to make us feel comfortable!

The hotel is in a quiet location and within easy access of the main area. The room was clean. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was really nice and the staff were really friendly.

There was only one key for the room which meant we were asked to leave the key at reception everyday but we were unable to as there was no one at reception. It would be really good if the shower head had wall fixing that held it in place facing downwards. .it also be good if there were a couple of glasses in the room.

George was fantastic as a host, very accommodating, and made our stay special!

I like when hotels have a central room/ bar to hang out in, so bear in mind that this one doesn't - but I imagine in summer that isn't an issue at all (we were there in off season, so the evenings were too cold to be out of doors, and many bars were closed)

Location to the beach restaurants and facilities. Breakfast was served in the room different savouries, served with omelette bread and fruit tea and coffee. Staff were helpful we asked for an iron & hairdryer nothing was too much trouble. On our last night two small glass of red wine was left in our room. Ferry terminal located in Agia marina we changed our ticket as we’d bough a flexi ticket. Well worth the money. Everything was libel thank you to George & his family

During my 5 night stay at Golden Star Praxitelous, I experienced the very best in Greek hospitality. The daily breakfast, brought to my room, and enjoyed on my balcony, was generous. During the 2 months I have travelled this time in Greece, without a doubt, my accommodation at Golden Star Praxitelous was by far the best value for money.

There was nothing not to like

The host was incredible, very kind and always alert! He offered a complimentary drink as a goodwill gesture and he was available for infirmation. Thank you! The bed was brand new and the matress as well, no squeeky noises and very very comfortable.

Overall the room was basic and rennovation is needed, especially the bathroom door and a wall painting refresher.
