Lovely Haveli right in the heart of the old city. It has a highly rated rooftop restaurant so very handy! We had the 2 rooms on the top floor and would recommend these. We organised the airport transfer through the Haveli and we arrived at (the most picturesque) Jodhpur airport to be met by a tuk tuk. What a lovely way to arrive (and bear in mind only tuk tuks can go through the old windy streets). It’s a brilliant location, within walking distance of the fort and other restaurants. We loved the quirkiness of the place and the staff were so welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

This charming old haveli has been beautifully converted into a hotel with a rooftop restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and feature large antique beds along with other vintage furniture, preserving the rustic old-world charm while offering modern comforts. What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional service. Mr. Vikram and his team are outstanding hosts, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. They provided us with detailed information about Jodhpur, making it easy to explore the city’s highlights. The breakfast they prepared was delicious, and the food at the rooftop restaurant was equally impressive, offering a delightful experience.

The place gives you an authentic Rajasthan feel. The interiors are soo well decorated with art , plants and antiques. The entire place is painted blue to give you the blue City effect. The service provided by Ranjeet and his staff was excellent. They make you feel like a family member. They have a roof top restuarant from where you can see the entire fort and have breakfast along with chai. We tried the famous Lal Mass of Rajasthan.. was soo well made with a lot of love and taste. Thank you for giving us a great experience. The staff is very professional and kind. They even offered to take our photos around the entire property. Thank you 🙏

Electricity cuts off randomly for few minutes.

Our plan did not include any food options. However we had food from this place itself. The restaurant at the terrace has amazing views of the Fort. In fact we had a room on the top floor. Dinner at the restaurant is a wonderful experience and the food and service are equally good. Mr Vikram and the staff were excellent in their service and were willing to help you always. All attractions are close by except the palace. We walked back down to the hotel from the Mehrangarh Fort. Better to take an auto while going up, first to the Jaswant thada and same auto to drop you at the Fort entrance.

This is an old Haveli. Getting there in your own car is a tricky experience with the crowded narrow alleys. Of course no lifts, but that was expected.

Very pretty place, in the heart of the old town, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The room was a great size, with a fridge, a kettle and a seating area. Fabulous rooftop restaurant with delicious food and a stunning view of the fort lit up at night. The location is excellent for walking to the fort and all the markets. We were shown a number of rooms to choose from.

The bathroom was the only disappointing part of the haveli. It was very tired with a wobbly sink and a shower that did not work at all well. It was quite noisy at night with dogs barking and fighting outside, but I guess that it just part of the charm of India! We could have asked to change rooms but we were only staying 2 nights so it didn't seem worth it.

Booked this pretty blindly because the pictures looked good. The owner is a very elegant gentleman who puts big attention to detail for a good experience of his guests in Jodhpur, inside and outside if the hotel. They offer all kinds of tours and services, booked a walking tour through them and had a good experience. The hotel itself is dreamy and features a lovely vintage aesthetic with a postcard view on the city fort from the rooftop terrace. I extended my stay and had both dinners at the restaurant within the hotel, amazing food. I was explained that the bill for my stay is only to be paid upon checkout - as a seasoned traveller, this might ring some alarm bells about charges. However, they even removed a part of my bill because I checked out early due to a change of my plans. I've never experienced such a level of hospitality anywhere in the world. Absolute recommendation.

We are a young couple from Italy, and we had the best time here at Gouri Haveli! The location is perfect to visit the blue city and the fort within maximum 20 minutes walks. The hotel has a great vibe: very beautiful building with an outstanding rooftop. The rooms have AC, showers with cold and hot water and anything you could need. Lastly the staff really makes the difference. The people working at Gouri Haveli are extremely kind hearted, they helped us with late check and made sure our stay was perfect. Would 100% recommend!

Very beautiful hidden gem right in the places you want to be! (Blue city, clock tower, and market) and very close by the temples and the fort! Very good location. Also the most kind and helpful staff ever and they keep the space very clean. Ranjeet, Ravi, Akram, (and other workers) are truly wonderful !!! Vikram the owner is very easy to contact and very wonderful as well. They will help you with all your needs!

The street is generally quiet ! One night though the dogs were fighting outside so bring earplugs just in case it happens :) otherwise that’s the only thing

This little gem is hidden in the streets of jodhpur just below the fort. Inside the team have create a small space of tranquility, with plants and beautifully decorated rooms. The buulding is old and from the outside you would not expect the sense of space you get inside - nor the feel of entering a garden. The team there are incredibly friendly and could not do enough to help us. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. We were not staying long in Jodhpur, but if you have a few days the team there can help you plan a variety of activities and they also offer currency exchange - which is incredibly useful. I can honestly say our little group was really impressed and loved the roof top restaurant that also gave stunning views of the fort. It was a tad chilly whilst we were there, however, blankets were provided and a fire was lit so we could enjoy the beauty of seeing the city under the stars from the roof top of an evening. The food there was also wonderful and completed what was for us a couple of amazing days. Thank you to everyone there!

The hotel is right in the center of the city and so as with all hotels there, be aware that it is noisy at night - whilst we loved the noisy and buzzing vibe that carried through from the day into the night, those who need silence to sleep should pack earplugs. This will apply to all places to stay in this area, and is not specific to here at all - it's a busy, bustling city 24/7

A wonderful experience which exceeded all our expectations ...which were high ! What made it such a beautiful stay, were the manager Vikram and his helper Bhery, who both made us feel so welcome with their kindness and caring nature's who couldn't do enough for us on our extended stay . The character of the Haveli is exceptional,250years old with exquisite wooden detailing on all the doors and windows, and internal courtyards which we loved sitting in after exploring the old city . The situation is also perfect and within walking distance of the Mehrangarh Fort, Step Well ,Clock Tower and Markets etc . Our room was so quiet and comfortable, with lots of space and rajasthan character . It was on the ground floor with red sandstone interior, which was stunning and comfy ex lrg bed, air con, fan and enormous bathroom and comfy chairs and coffee table . Besides the beautiful detailing of this Haveli and the ambience of the space , it was Vikram and Bheru who made our stay so perfect with their professionalism and kindness on a daily basis. We would stay again in a heartbeat and highly recommend "Heritage Gouri Haveli" when you visit Jodhpur .
