Quirky boutique hotel with Indian themed rooms with air conditioning and ceiling fan, very clean and very comfortable, the hotel manager spoke perfect english and it had an extremely busy separate restaurant that did a take away service and served incredible food which we really enjoyed.

A step before you descending the staircase from the first floor caught me unawares and I tripped over it, this could possibly do to be painted a bright colour so guests are made more aware of it and maybe some toiletries such as shower gels and shampoo would be a nice touch as although our room had an applicator it was empty.

From my first contact with the Agape, I was impressed how helpful the manager was. When we arrived we were offered an improved room. We also had dinner there which was good. Going beyond, we asked if the manager could help with bike transport on the bus. Not only did she check out all options, but in the morning one of the hotel staff accompanied us to the bus station to ensure all went smoothly. I thoroughly recommend the hotel.

They upgraded our booking with fair rate and my wife love the fried rice served at dinner. Kitchen staff are very friendly and my sons enjoyed the atmosphere very well. Mr. Fahad at the reception friendly and has excellent communication skills. After long travel we had comfortable rest and my mother was very satisfy with the location, food and beds.

The cable TV didn't work but for one night not much affected. And there was heavy water leakage when we open the shower. But we got hot water better to fix to save water.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Apage. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, which made my stay even more relaxing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a clean, cozy environment.

Few mosquitoes were trapped inside room. Make sure to properly close your doors/windows during your stay.

Clean and comfy place to stay. Lady on front desk (Noraline)was very kind and helpful and good to have a chat with. Maybe slightly too expensive for this area of SL but was a little better than the usual old wooden bed/poor shower combination that you often find, it’s more a budget hotel than a homestay. On site restaurant, dinner wasn’t amazing but handy not to have to go out after a long day of travelling.

We had such an perfekt stay in Hotel Agape. The Lady from the Hotel Management was so friendly and helpful, always making sure we have a good time and giving us many Tips for the Arena around Mannar. Overall the Service was extraordinary, the Staff was very friendly and extremely courteous. The Food at the Restaurant, which is directly on the hotel premises was very cheap and good!!! We had an outstanding time with Fazil, who is also working in the hotel. He organized us a private tour around mannar. He was our tourgide and brougt us to talaimannar with a bus, showed us some wonderful beaches and drove us werever we wanted to go. It is also to mention, that we got an free upgrate of our rooms, which were very comfortable btw. As we wanted to extend our stay for another night at the last minute, it was no problem at all for the hotel, so they are very flexible as well. We had a very very nice stay and would totally recommend!! Thanks for everything!!! 😇

The manager was very accommodating, hospitable and friendly. She ensured we had everything we needed for our stay, including for our driver. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent too. We had everything we needed including a fridge and bottles water, coffee & tea making facilities. Highly recommended!

The lady at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. We were upgraded to a suite which was very nice except our air conditioning was a bit weak. They fixed it so it was better.

We ordered the English breakfast and it seemed like they didn’t quite know how to do that. Tea and coffee came last when we were already finished eating. But this is not a tourist area. I’m sure they are better at serving Sri Lankan breakfast.

The manager was great, she upgraded us and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. Lovely room with a comfortable bed and pillows. She also arranged a meal to be delivered from the restaurant in the grounds which we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sun set and the birds going home to roost.

We recently had a pleasant stay at Agape Hotel in Mannar. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the area, and we loved the convenience of the European electricity outlets in our room. The manager/ lady at the reception was exceptionally friendly and provided us with excellent recommendations for exploring Mannar. The hotel itself is a good option for travelers who want a comfortable stay without paying for any frills. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade upon our arrival, which was a nice touch. The hotel restaurant has a limited menu, but the food was tasty and satisfactory. Overall, Agape Hotel in Mannar is a good option for travelers looking for an affordable and comfortable stay. It offers a great location, helpful staff, and decent amenities.
