We stayed two nights on the way to Jaffna late December. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The food was from a set menu but so tasty. The location was about 20minutes from the Mannar town. Excellent for bird watching. There was plenty of birds in the property and around the hotel.

-The pool was closed due to heavy rains. -The property needed some maintenance and cleaning up (Possibly because of heavy rains) -Hotel could have organised bird watching tours for the tourists. -not many attractions around the resort

This is an exceptionally good hotel - great staff, excellent food location spectacular - architecture of hotel fantastic, great pool and a real pleasure to be a quest at Naturalist superb ( Indiga - hope I have spelt this correctly) - a bird guide of real excellence and very good company in walks and visits to birding areas - very knowledgeable about photography as well as birds

All excellent - difficult to improve on

A fabulous place to relax while being looked after by delightful and efficient staff. Bird watching and donkeys are an enjoyable bonus

Liked everything

The hotel is secluded and very quiet. The meals were very good in spite of a limited a la carte menu. It is our second visit and will come again at a next opportunity.

The food at this hotel was spectacular. It was the best food we ate in Sri Lanka. The chef is a genius. The staff are super-helpful and accommodated our requests.

The staff was very helpfull and frendly. We loved the bathroom en terrace. The room was perfect. Palmyrah is a special place. We loved it. Even off season it is a good place for birding. Food is good.

Maybe the entrance and restaurant can use some TLC with some candles, deco and water in de pound. It felt very off season when we arrived.

Fried rice dishes a bit bland

Everything. The individual chalets are so beautifully done. Very spacious and gives you absolute privacy. Meals were simple but delicious and the small staff are very friendly and helpful. Such a great place to relax. Gem of a hotel.

I booked a weekend stay for my family here to celebrate my parent's birthday and they loved it! From booking to check-in / check-out, everything went smoothly. The staff onsite (and the support team over the phone) were extremely helpful and they did everything they can to make the stay a memorable one for my family.

Convinient location. Friendly staff. The breakfast was nice.
