A very quaint and historical place to stay in Demre. With few places to stay near the bus station and north of the major highway this place has large rooms that seemed well insulated and cool on a warm day. Handy to the Lycian tombs and to the Saint Nicholas museum. Very comfortable with a nice shaded upstairs sitting area.

The breakfast that was included was a no show by the time we left at 9:00 am.

I was worried about this place when I read the reviews but in fact it was totally fine. The room is spatious, clean, the shower didn't go super hot, but worked well, the location is outright excellent. The breakfast spread maybe doesn't look as varied as some other hotels, but what they have on is all very decent quality, you can certainly have pleasant and filling breakfasts here. Room is quiet, air con works, I can recommend the place.

There's a hamam downstairs which is a bit weird. It's supposedly free sauna / steam rooms for hotel guests, at least that's what we have been told, but when they aggressively tried to upsell us packages numerous times and we said no (we simply didn't have time as we were heading to the airport after, which we had told them clearly) they went a bit crazy on us and switched off all the facilities and pretty much rushed us out of the door. I mean, just don't go there, maybe unless you're planning on purchasing some massage, it doesn't make the hotel any worse.

The location of Bayracktar was perfect for us. It is within walking distance of the bus station and also to visit the Church of St Nicolas and the ruins at Myra. It is an older building with charming decorative features. The breakfast was perfect— delicious — prepared and served with care. The proprietor was helpful in adjusting the meal time and ordering a taxi to meet our travel plans.

The host is so so nice, even though she barely speaks English, but you can just feel the warmth through her! Great room with clean sheets and comfy bed, very cool old turkish mansion with modern stuff equipped inside! Brilliant breakfast! I also had the pleasure to have breakfast with a lovely turkish family together, its just a beautiful thing!!

Mosque nearby, probably gonna be an early wake up, but nothing biggie

This is a really quaint old Turkish house built in 1940 before roads were established to get materials here so the materials were brought by sea. High ceilings, airy rooms, good aircon and plenty of hot water. Lovely staff and great breakfast. It's like stepping back in time. The town has grown around it, it is next to a petrol station and a mosque so expect an early wake up call. But its still a 10/10 from us.

The room was very spacious and in a great location for activities

That there wasn't a small fridge area to store food

I'm literally in love with this old house. It's very atmospheric and authentic, there's beautiful old furniture and many vintage things there. My room was huge and very clean. The wifi worked great. It's conveniently located close to the bus terminal, main attractions, and supermarkets (I guess it's not that close to the beach but I wasn't interested in that). You will also be welcomed by very nice people there. Definitely recommend.

It's on a pretty busy road right next to a mosque so might not be suitable for those looking for a quiet place.

A lovely apartment, tastefully furnished in a traditional style, clean, spacious. A very nice host, kind and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Excellent wifi.

Everything was just fine.

Good breakfast and the person that works there is so kind! She did her best to communicate with us. They let us leave our luggages for the day also which was really great too. The place is really cute and clean! 7min walking from the bus station and 40min walking from the beach.
