The bed is incredibly comfortable and the location and interior is lovely. The spa area is amazing (but could do with a way to wash feet when coming in and out, perhaps provide slippers?). The food in the restaurant was wonderful and all the staff were attentive.

The wedding event taking place was incredibly loud and the music and bass rattled our windows until 00:30. I advise guests to check the event booking during their stay if they want peace and quiet. Such a shame, as otherwise a perfect stay.

The room was lovely and very comfortable. I like the finishing touches of fruit and chocolates in the room. The swimming pool was also lovely for an early morning swim.

I think the breakfast could be improved. It was not easy to get round to everything, as displayed in different places. There was also not much selection for a hot breakfast, and only scambled eggs. Mushrooms, friend egg is nice for English Breakfast.

Exceptional location, quite natural beauty. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Would highly recommend dinner in the restaurant.

Soundproofing might use some improvement, my room was just above the restaurant and I could hear someone cleaning over the night.

Beautiful rooms. Attended an event and the setting and food was outstanding. Spacious rooms and public areas so well presented.

Hard to say but I guess only scrambled or boiled eggs at breakfast was a bit limited.

Beautiful nature surroundings and dog friendly. Hotel gave us a special gift;) this hotel was the best in this area. The restaurant was surprisingly star rated and high quality. Reminds me of British country side.

I stayed at Bloemenbeek 1999-2000 for roughly 8 months having accepted a job 220 km from home. It was very ok then. Stayed there last week again after 20 years and it is still high quality, high standard, though still cozy and without false pretentions. The same owner and partner are there, invisibly mingling casually to ensure guests are ok. Staff very good, especially Iris who has a great future in the industry. The owner has an eye on good young staff with good potential. We had a six course and 4 course diner. The standard is high but not exquise. Breakfast solid and good. Room (grand suite) ok, clean and beds very ok. The location is superb, the surrounding region offers good possibilities for touring and walking. I brought my 1971 Rolls Royce Corniche and they were so kind to provide a safe parkingspot on the property. All in all a very relaxing experience and we plan to go back sooner than 20 years ahead 😉

Food is high standard but not exquise. I wish that a à la carte menu would be possible again.

Atmospheric place in a quiet rural area, with easy access from the motorway. Spacious room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Very nice swimming pool. It was dark when I arrived and parking space seemed scarce but in the morning I discovered that there was additional hotel parking further down the road (perhaps it should be marked more clearly?).

No coffee and tea facilities...
