The place is something very special. Whilst our room wasn’t all that large, it was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It is like stepping back in history to a time of opulence, style and class. It has been beautifully restored and maintained and if you are looking for somewhere more than just a place to stay…somewhere you are surrounded by history and elegance, then you must make the effort to visit this hunting lodge. We also enjoyed the restaurant. The food and the staff were excellent.

Well to be honest, there are a lot of stairs to negotiate and they can give your legs a workout if you are carrying a larger suitcase. But the staircases are also a major part of the elegance and charm. So whilst the stairs provided a bit of extra exercise, the place would not be the same without them. There really wasn;t anything about this place that we didn’t like.

It was truly fantastic and remarkable experience for us. This place is simply magical with its rich history and astonishing architecture and decor, beatiful surroundings, exceptional food and staff who helps to enrich your experience...

Amazing staff, everyone was super friendly and helpful. The place was really well furnished and decorated and it just felt magical. Breakfast was really good. The restaurant is offering very tasty dinner options and a delicious hot chocolate. Yet again I have to mention the absolutely wonderful staff. They have made the stay even better:)

Friendly staff, beautiful historical building. Great food in the restaurant. Close to nature. Cosy B&B atmosphere. Impressive architecture, never seen anything like this palace before.

You get to actually stay in an historic building. Very clean and quiet. The staff was wonderful. Excellent breakfast included. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
