Very stylish, well appointed, great location, spacious, clean and close to the town centre and all amenities. The apartments are just a short stroll from the river and shops and cafe's but are away from any hustle and bustle which could cause a disturbance.

The apartments are very warm and are directly opposite a large church. The church bells chime every 15 minutes and on the hour, even through the night, which doesn't help with sleeping. If the other apartments have noisy occupants you can also hear them, but that's an issue with the guests rather than the apartments themselves.

Very spacious, comfortable, some English speaking tv channels available, warm and cosy despite the open plan layout. Showers were very good and the area itself nice and quiet even though it was literally a three minute walk into the centre of Verden.

Their was a slight musty smell from the basement when the door was opened and some of the curtains and blinds were missing from the bedrooms. Being on the ground floor, people could walk along the side of the living area to the communal garden at the back, and because of the big floor to ceiling windows they could see into the living area. However, this was rare (cleaners I think) and didn't detract from our stay.

The apartment is really spacious, equipped with everything. The environment next to the cathedral is nice. A real vintage feeling.

The owner's information in his mail about the collection of the key was misleading, the given address was incorrect. When we called him, he looked us stupid ,when another letter should have been opened, where a different address was given. It was'nt pleasant to search in the evening in the cold. Since we were in the attic, there were a lot of spiral staircases, it was a bit difficult with our big luggages. The shutter on the window covers almost nothing, so the light is bright in the morning. The cathedral is beautiful, and we knew there was a view of it, but we didn't know it was so close, and it rings almost every hour for some reason. It's not very relaxing, you sleep worse in a foreign place anyway.The floor in the kitchen was sticky.

Location. Alleruferweg. Clean and modern. Kitchen well equipped. Locks with keypad. Wifi. Washing machine!

No sofa or comfortable chair. Difficult parking TV was impossible. Could not understand remotes and sound volume did not work. Should have had a bit more coffee and tea.
