The staff were a stand out. Very polite, Friendly and always happy to help with a smile. The view were amazing, surrounded by the mountains. The room were clean, spacious and comfortable. Great swimming pool and jacuzzi. Beautiful ground and garden. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Next door to Jatim park 2 and only 10 mins drive to Jatim Park 3 also Floating market/Transportation museum. Special thanks to Jasmine ( Breakfast room) and Lala ( Dinner at eatery restaurant) also Adrian ( F and B supervisor). You are a gem. We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Thank you Golden Tulip 🌷

Cleanliness, service and view was exceptional. Stayed here for our anniversary trip and we were greeted by cute deco on our bed + a heartfelt note printed by the hotel, wishing us a happy anniversary. The bed was extremely comfortable, room's very clean and we got the mountain view room which was amazing. The staff were all so kind and breakfast's great too! Felt safe and taken care of, would definitely recommend this hotel at Batu.

Spacious room with comfy beds. The room is equipped with air purifier. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We requested for a slice of cake for my daughter’s birthday and they came as a group to sing birthday song to her. Lovely! It is also very near to Batu Secret Zoo. We can see part of the Drive Through Zoo from the hotel premises, which was a really nice surprise! I will definitely return here if I go to Batu again.

A lot of flies in the dining area during breakfast but I was told it was a seasonal thing so I am not sure if there are flies in other months. I just wish more can be done to repel them while we were eating. I wish the pool is bigger but that’s ok because Batu has so many attractions for us to just be cooped up in the hotel.

The views around the hotel are stunning especially early in the morning when the mist is rising up over the mountains. The swimming pool area with its big slide is fun for families - the water takes a bit of getting used to though! There are at least three restaurants and the two which we dined in offered very nice food at a reasonable price. The beds are very comfortable and I felt well rested each night.

Our door frame panel came loose and fell off the door. Staff were very quick to fix it...but then it fell off a second time. Luckily, no one was in the way of it to hit their head. Staff initially informed me that there were no money changers in Batu only for a local taxi driver to take me to one in town later. Otherwise, this could have been a 1-2 hour drive back to Malang!

My stay at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Batu was fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The spa was a true highlight, offering an amazing retreat with its hot and cold jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. Although the pool was quite cold, it was still a great spot to relax as well as the breakfast is good and varied breakfast . I would definitely choose this hotel for another stay.

Service was excellent . View from the room & Skydome Restaurant was really good. Room was clean, bed was comfi. Aircon was cold. Netty, the Duty Manager was very nice & very helpfull. Pa Ponco, the breakfast Chef really surprised me, he made me a special dessert & a hotplate lobster omelette for breakfast which were very yummy. A special thanks for pa Ponco. :-) Jessica at Skydome restaurant was really nice, she was so sweet, quick, gave good recommendation what to choose. A big swimming pool with wide slide for the kids. Ooo... this place is very close to Jatim Park, the Zoo & Museum angkut.

Great location if you are going around Batu.. quite far from Malang though.. nice hotel, good facilities.. helpful staff. Would like to shout out Mbak Nova in the restaurant during breakfast, very helpful and great service. Room was a good size, good amenities and comfy bed. Amazing view from room.

Breakfast on weekends get rather crowded and food runs out quickly.. for some reason did not get hand towels in room had to request them twice.

The breakfast is very good with varieties of menu. The towels look dirty as they are not white anymore and show some stains on it.

On one of the days we were staying, we turn red 'no disturb' sign on because we want to rest inside our room during the day after early morning outing, but at around midday we received a phone call from the house keeping just to confirm that we don't want the room to be cleaned. It's so annoying as the phone woke us up and disturbed our rest.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous mountain views. Great location up on the hill. Very clean, and lovely staff who were very helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet with an enormous variety of both local and western food. We really enjoyed our stay here and will visit again.

Overall, nothing that do not like about this property. Minor things like ants along wall of dressing mirror and tv can be looked into. I will be happy to return here again.
