Location was good. Staff very friendly. For the price, you can’t beat it! Beds were comfortable and rooms were big. We had low expectations when looking at budget but this motel exceeded our expectations. The AC blew freezing cold, water pressure was good for showers.

For the price…. Nothing we didn’t like.

We have had such an excellent stay at this small, family run motel. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that make us feel right at home. We have been commuting between Denver and Phnow for weeks, and this is our stopover in both directions. What keeps us coming back is the personal touch. The family who runs this motel really cares for their patrons. If you are looking for a quiet, affordable, and welcoming place to that feels more like visiting friends than staying at a chain hotel, this is the place.

Everything was perfect. Room is clean, well kept and has everything we need.

We have friends who stay at the Historic Plaza hotel for $150 a night. While I'm sure it's very nice, I don't want to spend that much money for a comfortable bed and a quick overnight. This place ticks all the boxes, it's one of those older, slightly funky places that doesn't have a high-ceiling lobby with chandeliers and mirrors. What it does have is a great value for a comfortable, clean place to stay. Our room was quite spacious with a large TV, a couch, a larger-than-average refrigerator, and excellent black-out blinds. The bed was quite comfortable and the pillows were better than the $150 hotel we had in Denver. I would totally stay here again. And I'll take the $80 I saved and treat myself to a nice dinner. :-)

Happy with everything

The front desk guy was really accommodating, I was graduating from NMHU and since I had to be there at 12:30pm I asked if I could check out around 11:45am so I didn’t have to find something to do in the meantime, he was extremely friendly and allowed me to do so without any issue which was great help! There were no issues with people outside or our car, very close to almost everything we needed, and VERY big for the price. I’d say this place was a steal for sure!

The microwave didn’t work but wasn’t a big issue for us.

I received an upgrade (I believe) with a larger room that had additional furniture. I was able to do everything from my routines at home, exercise, do some food prep using the fridge and microwave. I was even able to wash out some lighter items. Provided toiletries and coffee were very good. Bed was super comfy with lots of pillows.

Nothing, since one couldn't help the fact that the structure was probably built in the 1960s - why I gave a 9 instead of 10.

Basic, but clean. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. The pillows were great (some soft support pillows instead of the usual giant hard monster pillows)!

Neighbors from hell arrived at 1:45 a.m. Stood (apparently) outside our door talking at the top of their lungs for 15 minutes. They then went away for 20 minutes, only to return and take the party indoors. They finally shut up at about 4 a.m. Not the motel's fault, but sound-proofing was inadequate.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows of varying softness. The desk was a good size for work. Furniture in good condition. Floor was not carpeted, easy to see that it was clean. Parked directly outside my room in brightly lit lot. Very efficient room-darkening curtains.

Noisy street, but I always travel with earplugs so not a problem. Basic cleaning (sheets, toilet/shower, floor) was fine. There could be a little more attention to detail, for example a splatter on the ceiling, accumulated dirt and dust on the back of the bathroom door, grime on door jams and kitchenette counter, dirt under kitchenette sink where the refrigerator was at one time. Walls and woodwork could use a paint touchup.

Staff was great and it's wonderful to have a motel that we cna bring our dogs to stay with us.

No lamps was an issue for us. We had to leave the bathroom light on and crack the door as the overheads were so bright we could not leave those on when watching TV, etc.

Location was perfect and close to eateries and tourist destination spots. We stayed in room #102 and we were pretty content with our setup! The room was super spacious and smelled fine. THE STAFF was SO WELCOMING! We really appreciated them for their warm welcome and were very happy with our stay! You can tell that this a family owned business and is in the process of being remodeled. They've done a really nice job at it too!

There's a bit of noise off the road but I think all the hotels on this main thoroughfare experience some level of noise from the road. Loud exhausts from trucks and loud motorcycles. At night it tends to quiet down a bit so we had no problem with getting some sleep after 9pm or 10pm and it didn't get noisy till after 10am. We stayed Monday through Wednesday. The room was clean but could use a little more wipe down like on doors and walls and baseboards throughout the hotel room and the bathroom. Wasn't icky though! Other than that, this was a really nice stay.

The staff was warm and welcoming. The room we were in was renovated with plenty of linens. Don't let the exterior fool you. It was a super cold night and the staff had turned the room heater on for us in anticipation of our arrival, too. The location was convenient to the highway and to the main street with lots of restaurants, gas stations, shops and a Walmart.

It's a busy street, but road noise isn't an issue.
