The best part of this place is its serene location, surrounded by nature, river-facing, and a short (approx. 12 km/15 min) drive to Val-de-Reuil station. Perfect for a relaxing holiday yet easy to get to Paris in about 1.5 hrs by train. I was driving and the location worked out well for us to visit the tourist attractions in Normande (by car) and Paris (by train). We had a 2-bedroom first-floor apartment, spacious, spotlessly clean, and modern. The kitchen equipped will all modern appliances, quality furniture and very pleasing furnishing. Two small balconies offered a lovely view of the river Seine and gardens - excellent for a family of 4. The indoor and outdoor pools looked good, but we didn't use them. Good parking space. It's the Karma branding all over the hotel and the reception staff told us that Wyndham has recently taken over this property. Reception is functional only from 8am to 8pm. There is a small shop/bar at the reception where you can buy snacks and wine etc. The gardens around the hotel are well maintained and have good walking/activity space around the hotel. The only restaurant on the very next site was a gourmet restaurant, which looked good but can't walk in without a reservation. Nothing else within walking distance… not a problem as you can cook or find a few restaurants within 15 mins drive. Overall a good experience.

I stayed here with my family of four for one night on the way south. I was not entirely sure what to expect as, despite the attractive photographs of the exterior and location, its name often shows up in searches as Karma Manoir des Deux Amants which sounded like some wellness hangout for swingers. Rest assured, it is a perfectly family orientated hostelry and well sound-proofed. This is Monet country and the Japanese style bridge across the water to the outdoor swimming pool recalls his own at Giverny. The hotel is to be found stretched along on one of the two arms of the Seine that meander through the local area. More unexpected was its situation at the base of the high limestone cliffs along this section of the river, which can interfere with mobile reception, in particular at the modest restaurant just opposite. Take cash if you don’t fancy the short walk up the road to pay at the hotel that runs it as the card machines do work there reliably. It’s not an area of France I know at all well. The situation was tranquil and the local area similarly snoozy. A drive into Connelles for snacks revealed a number of intriguing local manoirs and shooting lodges, perhaps abandoned, often hidden behind tall hedges and entrance ways. I was reminded of “la domaine perdu” in Alain-Fournier’s Le Grand Meaulnes. Mysterious grand estates and getaways dissolving into the forest and memories of the Belle Époque. Our own apartment was well equipped but on the third floor and it lacked a lift. The site itself seems very secure with gated entry so you perhaps don’t need to empty the car if just staying the one night. The coffee machine provided was of filter paper design and needed ground coffee, but I couldn’t find any of either. A small sigh. In all, a very pleasant and welcoming first night’s stay and the outdoor swimming pool much appreciated.

The environment is just amazing. So quiet and relaxing. Just love the place I would say it's one of the best places that I've visited for such a reasonable price. Self-catering apartment with all what you need inside(iron, ironboard, cutlery, pots... etc). Everything is spotlessly clean. The grounds of the hotel are so well maintained. There are 2 swimming pools (indoor and outside). The sensory shower ner the swimming pool was so relaxing. Staff is brilliant!Exceptionally nice and helpful. If you want to eat out-2 restaurants next to the hotel. Both are really good. The restaurant in an old house-is so posh. Food delicious.The restaurant across the road serve very good food as well. Both of them are highly recommended to visit while you stay at the hotel. Overall I was absolutely delighted with my stay. Kids love the stay as well. The hotel is Highly recommended to visit;)Would love to come back there when I'm on holiday in France again.

Peaceful, beautiful spot on the river, with lots of nature: families of swans, kingfishers, fish in the clear river. The island over the bridge is lovely for a stroll. Pools, sauna and table tennis were great. A scenic bus ride from the Town Hall (Mairie) to the nearby town for the supermarket and bakers. It was fine to walk through the next door grounds of the Moulin Restaurant to get to the bus stop.

The second room in our particular ground floor flat didn't have a window to the outside (just glass to the corridor), so it was a bit gloomy and stuffy, and lacked privacy a bit. We weren't warned about that. The sauna worked great most days, but a few times it wasn't working. But overall, a lovely place.

Lovely, well equipped room with a balcony in a quiet rural location. Access to two swimming pools a bonus too (although the outdoor one wasn't in use when we visited due to the weather). Lovely view of the water and the island which you can access over a bridge. We didn't fancy the breakfast but ordered a delicious pain au raisin instead. Also lovely restaurant across the road.

The 10am checkout time was ungenerous compared to most other establishments at 11am or 12 noon, especially as check in is also later at 4pm. No dedicated cycle parking - we were allowed to park our bikes outside reception but if there had been more of us I'm not sure where we would have gone

Particularly enjoyed: the 2 pools (indoor and outdoor) which were never too busy despite the fact that we were there in August, the sauna, the surroundings, the quietness especially in the evening. For breakfast you can order their "formule" or just a pastry which were really good. The flat has everything needed and is in a good state (no scuff marks on the walls!), even if it is small. The staff is very friendly.

The closest supermarket is a while away (the description does not say it but there is a restaurant closer by).

We enjoyed our stay at club Wyndham very much. The settings was so beautiful, like a painting. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have the little kitchen and especially the washing machine after several days of travel. I highly recommend Club Wyndham and the beautiful area around Connelle.

The apartments are lovely, clean and well equiped with everything you need. 24 hour reception and very friendly helpful staff. Quiet tranquil location, totally away from it all. We enjoyed the peace on our balcony overlooking the slow moving water with lily pads and leaping fish. Only the bird song to break the silence and the gentle hooting of owls at night. We were thrilled with the little potager garden with the sign to help ourselves and enjoyed the freshest courgettes ,fresh figs and raspberries. The outdoor swiming pool was available over a sturdy and safe pedestrian bridge to a private island on the Seine, enjoyed by the guests in the unusual fierce heat wave.

Too hot to sleep well, but it was a rare and exceptional heatwave and we had a fan in our room which helped. We didn't like the petty negative reviews left by others ! Some guests in the past have complained that it is too remote with not enough entertainment and no public transport. We advise them to go to a resort instead and leave this haven of peace to those like ourselves who truly appreciate it. No one should go to rural France without a hire car.

Full kitchen facilities, The apartment was well presented and the bed was very comfortable. The location next to the river was lovely and quiet. Staff were pleasant and very helpful.

There were 2 very large single chairs that, with the remaining sofa, low tables and dining suite, made the family room seem small and cluttered. The path up to our apartment door was edged with a pine log border next to where the car was parked that you had to step over and could be a trip hazard.

The location of the hotel is excellent against the Seine river with wonderful views from our terrace, close parking and facilities we didn't expect. Spotting European Beavers in the river in front of us was an unexpected joy. Proximity to Giverney was very good, as was the ability to drop into Vernon for all of our catering needs.

There is very little (read nothing) close by to provide for your meals, (not the properties fault). Stop off before arriving to collect everything you need for your stay or until you get more time to establish. Vernon is recommended with ample supermarkets (good standard) and boulangeries, patisserie's etc.
