The old building and the old style of the rooms, definitely not a chain feel like Ibis, Mercure etc. Staff were great , the young lady serving table was a great character. The bathroom/shower were up to date and very nice - good shower plenty of space and water. Really quiet and peaceful. The hotel is in a good location for visiting lots of local sightseeing. Lovely for cycling the area.
Well the world has moved on - time to take away TV access unless requested and boost the wifi . People take their media differently these day. Stayed in an apartment in the alps which had done this - worked a treat. Sadly the wifi here is woeful. Find the thing that buzzes in the wall , we think it was related to the aircon and fix it. Also a little bit of tape over the on light on the aircon unit - way too bright. If you want to eat anywhere else you will be driving - the village doesn't have much in the way of amenities other than a little supermarket and pharmacy.

We stumbled across this place on our road trip to France and what a find it was. Traditional French hospitality at its best. The owner takes great care of everything - from the check in, to the running of the hotel, breakfast and dinner - and what a great job he does. Dinner is exceptional! Do eat there! We couldn't fault a thing and we utterly taken by its old fashioned charm. Would def. recommend!
We liked absolutely everything but would like to point out that it is a traditional place and you won't find minimalist modern decor and high tech gadgets. If this is what you are after, then this is not your place. Else, do go!

For some reason I thought the hotel was in a rural area; however, the property was from 1602 providing a fantastic atmosphere in the Dining Room. The owner was very dog friendly to our 2 cocker spaniels. The Menu and quality of food and drink that was served was quite exceptional; a very nice Petit Chablis being served each evening. The Owner was very helpful and cheerful
There is no small grass area for the dogs; meaning a walk morning and evening. A tidy up of the patios in front of the downstairs bedrooms; just some quite basic weeding, would make a great difference to the ambience of the property.

A very friendly welcome by the proprietor in a lovely old hotel. The rooms was very comfortable and well furnished. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was beautifully cooked. The dining room had a lovely atmosphere and waitress was very sweet. Also a very good breakfast. The staff were very friendly. We would certainly stay at this hotel again.
Nothing to dislike.

Very nice little hotel that we used for a stopover on our way south. It has a cosy and countryside feel to it. The owner is a friendly chap who also speaks German and English without problems. Very impressive. We stayed for dinner which was good and the breakfast was tasty too. Place is clean, beds are decent, night was quiet and the other guests were nice too. What else do you want?
