Excellent location in downtown Wawa and close to all amenities, stores, restaurants, etc. Large, well lit parking lot with lot of patrons meant my motorcycle was safe. Excellent accommodations that appeared to have been recently renovated with all the amenities of a much newer establishment. Very comfortable and pleasant stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay the night or a weekend! Would definitely stay again on my next visit.

Stairs leading up to the second floor was a tad dimly lit and creaky.

This motel really exceeded my expectations of a place to lay my head for the night on a cross-country voyage. The two beds me and my friend booked were very comfortable, the bathroom and room was immaculate and nicely decorated in a fun rustic Canadiana theme, and the cost was not exorbitant. The rooms were quiet and I think well sound-insulated as I could hear my neighbour using the television in the hall, but not in our room. Warm and cozy. Front desk staff were delightful to deal with. Overall I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the lodging. Just so nice to stop at a clean and cared-for place on my trip. Will certainly be back.

Extremely clean! Neighbors were very pleasant and respectful. It’s definitely a man’s motel but there wasn’t any intimidation from all the guys when I felt like the only female. Everyone was very respectful and friendly. Did I say how clean it was?! The towels were so soft! The pillows!!!! They were sooooo perfect for us! We tried to see what brand but the tags were no longer attached. I meant to ask the owner but forgot…I need those pillows in my life! The bed and sheets could use a little work but for a motel on the side of trans Canadian hwy 1 it was a gem. Coffee and cookies in office in morning really hit the spot too!

The bed was lacking comfort for me but my husband was good with it- beds are hard to review since everyone has their own comfort scale.

The room was cozy, as advertised in terms of amenities, and extremely clean. Staff were incredibly friendly, there’s lots of parking, check-in and out were easy, and there’s complimentary cookies and coffee.

Only things were that the curtains let in a significant amount of light at the bottom from the outside lights, and it would be nice to have a second lock on the door (like a deadbolt or chain lock) since it’s accessed from the outside. These things were quite minor, and we’d 1000% stay at the Outdoorsman Again despite these.

This place is a perfect 10. We stayed one night and everything was great. Friendly staff going out there way to make you feel welcome. Rooms are super clean. Bed is so comfy. Because of our first night there we stayed there on our return trip and the staff already had the extra pillows I requested on my first night in my room. That is just the kind of customer service to make you come back. From now on I will always stay there on my travels. Thank you for the best experience I had on my years of staying in motels.

We didn’t stay for breakfast as we were leaving early to return home.We we’re passing through Wawa.Staff was very accommodating.We had phoned ahead to tell them we were running very late(well after check in time) ,they left key and instructions at the lobby for us.I don’t believe many places would have done this.

I could not seem to get cold water out of bathroom tap (for a glass of water).Was tepid.Maybe I should have let it run longer.

The location is not difficult to find and there are plenty of room to park. The rooms are easily accessible, spacious, quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I like that the room has a full size fridge which was very practical for the food and dairy I have in my cooler since I was travelling across a few provinces.

The breakfast starts later than I expected.

It's a nice place with a very friendly person in the office at check-in and in the morning. The room was attractive and the bed was comfortable. The Wifi was strong and fast. There's a full-size (!) refrigerator and freezer, and there's a supermarket just down the road.

A few irritations: The bathroom has no exhaust fan or even scented spray, so I had to deal with odors (luckily it wasn't winter -- when I wouldn't want to open the outdoor window). There's no bar for hanging clothes, only a few hooks in the place where a bar could go and a few hooks by the door. The breakfast is cookies... nothing nutritious (with protein) to keep me going while I drive... luckily, there's a Subway restaurant that's easy to walk to which opens at 6:00 a.m. on weekdays at 8:00 a.m. on weekends.

We stayed here for one night and it was way better than we expected for a motel. Room was completely refurbished. The bathroom was all brand new….looked like we were the first ones to use it. Really pristine. Chairs and table outside each room, and barbecues outside every other room. Great feature! Also brand new apartment size fridge and microwave.

Close to everything. Very comfy bed!

It’s not the property per say, but the sound proofing. We had a herd of elephants wearing tap shoes arriving late at night on the floor above us. Kept us awake for hours. Also, no courtesy coffee in the morning- we had to pay for a small cup of coffee.
