The bathroom was really good, although the bathtub is a bit slippery, I'd suggest one of those bath anti slip mats. The room was clean, sheets clean, good tv. Our dog was received as part of the family and they even set up a table for us on the back patio of the restaurant so it could stay with us. Service in the restaurant was really good!

The toilet needs to be better fixed, it's loose! The building is very old and in dire need of renovation and repairs, although our room had clearly been totally renovated. Food in the restaurant was good but definitely overpriced and not many options.

The view in our room in the morning was priceless. Not even with the best world hotels you find such beautiful sunrise. The bar ambiance was amazing. The live music was great, the girls singing were beautiful and very professional. The area was pleasant and no one to disturb the peace. It’s like we were in another dimension. I will recommend the Lakeview Hotel to all my friends and family!. It’s original, it’s not a place you can be deceived just because of the looks …it’s just the way it is and that makes it particularly amazing. It’s like..it is! *ORIGINAL* and *CLEAN* even if you don’t believe it …it’s amazingly clean! ….well done! Love it!

Nothing, everything was PERFECT

Initial book dates and times were wrong. We were early and they were more than happy to change dates and accommodate our request. While the main building is clearly old. It was clean and updated. Very nostalgic looking and in it's prime was obviously a very high end hotel. Nice to see that not all the historical buildings are being let go in disrepair.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like. However tea in the room as well as coffee would have been nice. We had requested 2 beds. However given the circumstances we were therefore we were happy to just lay down and sleep

The very friendly staff went out of their way to find us a room that was away from the mainfloor bar rather than above it, and to get it ready for us promptly. The room had a good view of the lake. and was cooled by a very modern heat pump with a remote control. Very nice.

One or two other guests must have spent too much time in the bar, and walked up and down our corridor shouting incoherently until after midnight. Wawa is very much a working-class town! Alas, we were planning to get up at 6 am and get an early start on our drive to Kenora.

The hosts are very kind! In the morning offer free very tasty coffee and even told me about the town, offered a free book. I stayed here two times, and on my way back, as a return customer was offered a free upgrade to a Queen bed +jakuzzi room! TV had netflix and youtube on. Easy to find a parking space. And the lake view is fantastic. Took a walk with my dog there 🙌🏻 beautiful!

Because it was available and because I love a view, we upgraded to the big room at the front with breakfast nook overlooking Wawa Lake. It is an older hotel gradually upgrading, and this was one of the completed rooms. In the pub we had Canadian pizza prepared by a Chinese cook using Japanese mushrooms. Possibly the best pizza I have had.

The shower control was difficult to set.

The hotel was clean. I stayed in the new section. I was hoping to stay in the old section just because of the nostalgic aspect. The staff knew I was on my motorcycle and they thought that I would like to park my bike right outside of my room. It was all good. I also liked that the restaurant and bar was on property. The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly.

Nothing.

OK, this is NOT a luxury hotel. It is in a historic building that is apparently more than 100 years old, so the decor and facilities reflect that. It does have it's own bar and restaurant attached. This is a classic 'dive bar' with live music, good food and great service. Nothing elegant but a very warm, comfortable feeling. We enjoyed our evening there. obviously a focal point for the local community as the bar was quite busy, given the time of year. Staff was great. Good nights sleep. Will go back.

I was across from the lake, which was perfect for a morning walk. Lakeview Hotel is a dog friendly hotel 😀 There is a restaurant in the hotel.

My dog heard every noise in the hall and the room next door... but I'm pretty sure that was "her" problem. My room was in the midst of renovations, so the wall had holes from where the TV was etc.

This hotel is in a fantastic location for access to Lake Superior Provincial Park and other beautiful locations along Lake Superior. The hotel manager was extremely kind and helpful, and the room was clean, had plenty of space, comfortable beds, and a big tub. It's also walkable to just about any restaurant or store you need to get to in Wawa without being right on Hwy 17, so it reduces traffic noise.

When the hotel was originally built it likely had a great view of Wawa Lake, which is now mostly blocked by subsequent businesses built across the street. However, it is walkable to Wawa Lake, which has a great little beach.
