The perfect place to stay the night before or after taking one of the ferries to/from the islands of Föhr or Amrum but also as a base for exploring the area - especially when travelling by public transport as the train station connecting Dagebüll Mole with Niebüll is a stone throw away. [Special note to the train geeks: the track even passes between the two hotel buildings - but to thos who are worried about the noise: the windows are so well insulated that the noise the train makes doesnt affect you much (the storm one night I stayed was much louder ;-)...).] During my two (so far) stays I had both dinner and breakfast and the food was always delicious. If you are lucky to get a table by the window, you can watch not only the ocean itself but also the huzzle and buzzle of the ferry port (again, the windows being so well insulated, you wont get disturbed by the noises coming from the port). From the restaurant there is an external door leading right onto the dike (a small shortcut compared to the "regular" hotel entrance on groundfloor level) - perfect for walks along the shore line (or accessing the train station and the port). The rooms had a nice size as did the bathrooms. The beds were really comfy (I like it when the mattress is a bit harder). One peculiar thing that needs pointing out were the wardrobes in the rooms I stayed in: they can best be described as "his & hers" - each (equally sized) section equipped with shelves as well as a rod for hanging clothes. No need to fight for space when travelling as a couple. ;-) Overall I can only highly recommend this hotel and I am looking forward to returning in the (hopefully near) future. :-)

I would have to be really picky to find something not to like. Some might argue that the decor of the rooms is a tiny weeny bit outdated but thats all down to personal taste and how important the stylishness of a hotel room is for your personal wellbeing (but there are plenty of other hotels that cater to that taste... ;-) ).

All was good.

The confort of the room, the view from the room and the restaurant to the sea and the boats, the terrasse outside on the top of the beach, the choice at breakfast. A room inside for the bicycles.

I would like to use the sauna, but the hotel asked 17€ per person, plus 5€ for the use of the jacuzzi per person. That's make a little budget when we are 2. We had it included in the hotel in Borchum, I don't understand why it is not here.

The best thing about this hotel is the great view from the restaurant. The food there is also very good and the staff were nice and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and everything was working. Great location right next to the North Sea. They don't have dedicated rooms for allergy sufferers but apart from the lack of air-conditioning the room was fine in that respect.

They don't have air conditioning which is a pity since it's no help to those heading to the North Sea hoping to find relief from pollen allergies (and not quite finding it).

The room was beautiful and spacious with a great shower. It exceeded my expectations. The outside of the hotel looks a little older but the facilities inside are beautiful. The location is great for those taking the ferry but also for those who may wish to just spend a day visiting the coast. It is a beautiful area to walk and watch the tides. The restaurant offered high end dining for dinner and a plentiful delicious breakfast. Extra thanks to Salam for helping us out and being so wonderful with my limited (to say the least) German.

Wish we could stay longer!

All was great about this hotel. They have received a few packages for me and gave those to me on arrival. I have very much enjoyed the attached restaurant. Very neat, clean and secure room to keep the bikes safe. Last but not least, the room itself was very comfy.

Hotel is located next to the Ferry Terminal and is ideal for trips to the islands. Quiet location with amazing views over the Wattenmeer. The restaurant offers a choice of fresh, local dishes. The chef is highly talented and the dishes we ordered were cooked to perfection and delicious.

It was a lovely stay! We informed the hotel upfront of having a dietary restriction and they provided us with gluten-free bread every morning for breakfast. The staff was always very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious with a nice view to the sea.

Great hotel location between train and ferry transfer to and from the islands Foehr and Amrum. The seafood soup was wonderful. Service was very friendly!

The stairs to the upper floors are a bit steep and uneven. Use caution!!
