I've stayed in several hotels in La Grande, but we have not returned to any we've previously stayed at because they were disgusting. We decided to try Super 8 this time. My expectations were pretty low. I just wanted a clean room. We walked in, and I almost cried. Everything was so clean! I felt the floor was clean enough to put our bags down. The sheets felt nice and clean. The pool was nice too! I really appreciated the gluten free breakfast options.

The bed was fine for me, but my husband said it wasn't comfortable for him. We were in the basement and the light connected to the light switch by the front door was not very bright. We had to have all of the lights on at one point. But that's not a huge deal. I am just glad we finally found a hotel we can come back to when we visit La Grande.

Lots of things to do and places to eat close by.

Not the property’s fault, but the WiFi was down in the whole town so our tv didn’t work the first 2 days. We were able to buy a dvd player to keep the kids occupied in the evenings.

Great location and room was very comfortable.

The sink seemed to be nearly plugged which I reported when I checked out. Continental breakfast pretty limited. A channel guide in the room would have been helpful also.

How convenient it is to the freeway and access to food and Walmart down the street the staff was very friendly and welcoming wish the pool was open longer but was great stay can’t wait to come back

No elevators

The room was clean, comfortable, and warm. Breakfast was nothing special, but there were plenty of good choices. It was a no-surprises stay. We have regrets staying there, and would stay again. We found a great local restaurant not far away.n the

The price was on the high side for the area. On the other hand, we passed on another place not too far away that was a little less expensive. We drove past and agreed to keep on driving. Everything but the price was ok or better.

Stayed one night before fishing the Grande Ronde River. Service was excellent. Room large and very clean. Breakfast was the usual for a travel motel, eatable and forgettable. I’d stay again.

This property has received some negative reviews. Except for the carpet on the stairs we found it perfectly clean and it fully met our needs. The kids loved the breakfast and the pool. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Our room had 3 beds which worked great for our family of 6. It saved us money because we did not have to get 2 separate rooms.

The breakfast had minimal options

Did not like the breakfast, or rather, the lack thereof. For the price of the room, there could be a better variety and hot breakfast. The location was very good.

The breakfast- hot eggs and sausage, or other meat, biscuits and gravey, etc.

Breakfast could have been better. Instead of hard boiled eggs scrambled would have been great. Our room did not have a pot for the coffee maker. The bath tub was very slippery. My husband almost fell several times. So instead of a shower I had to take a bath I didn’t want to chance falling. We were in room 108.
