An incredible hotel/riad placed in a gorge. I travel a lot around the world and can compare it to another places, even in Morocco, where I lived in more than 10 different hotels. I've also traveled all over Morocco, all the way to Dakhla in the Sahara, and this place deserves a solid 10. It's beautiful, spotlessly clean, but above all, sometimes it's about the people, not the place. The hotel is hosted by Idriss, without whom this place wouldn't be the same. I rarely leave reviews, but in this case, I felt it was my duty. Idriss is someone who is proud of the place where he lives, and will do everything to ensure that his guests have a perfect experience in every way. I arrived late about 1:00 at night, and Idriss came just for me to check-in and it was long after check-in hours. Thank you, Idriss, for your hospitality. I'll be back soon. Inshallah!

The hotel is located in a magical location right in the heart of the mountain with a spectacular view. The place is very cozy and ideal for a quiet yet adventurous stay. We did a 3-hour hike with our local guide Idriss who took us to see some caves of the Berber nomads, explained local fauna and flora, as well as explained many curiosities about the place and its peoples. After we came back he cuddled us with some of the best authentic food we tasted during our entire trip around Morocco, consumed in a lovely dining area with a fireplace! We surely want to come back to this place for a proper longer holiday, one night left us craving for more!!

Cozy place above Gorge Dades. Food is made fresh when ordered using firewood, plan an hour ahead when ordering. Easy to park your vehicle. Amazing views from within and around the property. My 5 year old son did a short version of the mule ride because of lack of time. I could tell the full version was well worth it. Property owner is very attentive and responded to all my questions sent before arriving. Indriss is the jack of all trades, he entertained us by the fireplace area, fired up the wood for dinner, and guided us during the mule ride for my son. Thank you for making it a wonderful experience.

I don’t have any negative feedback for this property. Considering the resources available to this community on top of a mountain, this must be one of the top places to stay for one to two nights.

Hotel to de stress, a definite must do! Have just spent five days at this hotel. Arrived full of lifes stresses and left like a new woman. The owners are very perceptive to needs and nothing is too much for them, within their means. Stupendous night skies, not blighted with light. Great trekking and hiking with the manager Idriss whose knowledge about his surroundings is impressive. I would higly recommend this place to all. Breakfasts are served either in the restaurant, which is decked out in the Berbere style, comfortable and clean. the bedrooms have all you need down to a hairdryer, the bed are warm and comfortable and you can drift off to sleep listening to the birds sing. Yes, they sing all night......slightly confusing but another treat! the place is spotless and the people are exceptionally friendly, always smiling and helpful. There are beautiful shower washes left in the rooms for your use also, with the aromas of Morocco floating through them. The chefs chicken skewers are yummy and the food is fresh and not tainted with atrificial flavourings. I was introduce to green tea with wild mountain thyme by Idriss and it was refreshing as was his sense of humour. If you are looking for somewhere to totally unwind then I would highly recommend you pay this place a visit. Stunning view of the lowest point of the Dades gorge, which is splendid in itself. First sight takes your breath away. Well appointed camping site with showers, toilets and washing machine facilites, all spotless. Safe for the solo traveller, with buses that will take you to the local town of Boumaine.....hope I spelt that right! They are very cheap to use, it costs 60 mad to go and take about half an hour, back through the Dadas gorge, a definite must see. Tucked away next to the river and the Gorge, you will be missing out if you don't give this Hotel and its glorious surroundings a try. No TVs, no noise and no hassle. I would definetly love to see the place again. A definite must do.

There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel. It had everything you would need, except no TV's, but that can be a bonus also.

The place was on a fantastic spot on the way through the gorges. We have had a nice dinner, the personel was very kind. We didn’t have the time for a hike, but we would recommend that

Very friendly staff to attend to your needs .Great place to unwind as it is quiet and relaxing. All the food is prepared fresh and very healthy. It is beautiful place to be as it's situated right next to the Gorge. Hikes and treks can be booked on site and walks through Imdiazene Village with just a 50 metres from the Gorge in front of the hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with great plumbing and good showers. Hand wash and shower gels are available. Great star gazing in the Gorge for those interested.

the road to the gorge is fantastic, we arrived the this hotel and meet two guys were very friendly, they welcome us with tea and beautiful cakes . we find our room already warm because it's getting cold up the mountains. they offered very nice trail for hike which we enjoyed much . dining room warm . the place around is huge and beautiful with many trees and mountains around . you never feel bored in this place . we recommend for people's who love nature and peace .

The staff were great and I recommend a guided walk with Idriss. Very interesting and informative. The staff also entertained us at dinner time with music and riddles! The room was quite basic, with a hard bed and a cold floor (no rugs!?!). We were happy with our stay, and it was a fair price, but the description on Booking.com makes it sound more luxurious than the reality.

Delightful small hotel excellently located immediately after the narrowest part of the gorges. We are on a touring holiday and decided we had gone far enough for the day, so found this on booking.com. Lovely traditional style (so nice after the usual modern hotels we had stayed in), helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great organisation trip we did from this hotel , Idriss was our guide for valley of roses and booked us lovely riad in the desert . We saw different ereas and drive up the mountain. Guide with rich information and knowledge about Moroccon country which you can't find in the guiding book . We recommend Idriss as a guide . If you want to see and know deep of Moroccon country.
