We were welcomed warmly and shown to our room even though we were much earlier than the check in time. Lahcen and Madhe and the rest of the staff were attentive and provided essential information to enable us to make an exquisite hike through the Dades Gorges canyon, which isn't easy to find when doing it without a guide. Our room was really nice, a cute and creatively designed bathroom with toilet and shower separately, which is not always the case in Morocco. Beds were comfortable and we slept very well. Our balcony looked straight out to the Monkey Fingers rock formations and it was a delight to sit there at night watching the changing light. The complementary breakfast was both generous and excellent. Dinner was lovely too. Not to forget the sheer luxury of the rooftop pool! It was so nice to take a refreshing plunge after a solid hike.

The only thing we missed was a light in the section in the middle between the shower and the toilet where mirror and sink were located. Also, the balcony chairs were slightly deteriorating, but our pool towels solved that issue.

We loved everything from the welcome when we arrived to the service while there and the goodbye when we left. The building and the rooms were all very nicely decorated and exceptionally clean, it honestly couldn't have been better! Mahdi and his team really looked after us well and made us feel very welcome and at home... our only regret was not staying longer.

There was nothing to not like.

The road leading to Riad Rihanna following the Dades Valley is absolutely stunning! Upon arrival we were offered a traditional mint tea by the friendly staff. The riad is beautiful, well maintained and well situated within walking distance to one of the greatest trails of the Dades gorge – Monkey Fingers. Our stroll by the river was like walking through the garden of Eden, the locals are really welcoming too. The rooftop pool is magnificent, if not a little cold at the time of year we went; but this did mean we had it to ourselves. The staff bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and saw that we had everything we needed. They exceeded our expectations by planning live music, arranged a special cake; even the kitchen staff sang for my wife’s 40th birthday!

If you are hoping to eat traditional Moroccan food you will be disapointed - which was the case for us. However, our kids were happy with the bolognese. Other than this I would have given Riad Rihanna 10/10.

Stayed in 6 different hotels on a 10 day road trip in Morocco and Riad Rihana was by far the best on every level. All staff working at the hotel were fantastic, genuinely welcoming and friendly. We felt completely at home and nothing was too much bother, everything done with smiles and laughs. Big shout out to Zachary who took us on a guided walk up the gorge which we loved. Zachary was funny, friendly, considerate and very informative about the area and history of the Berber people. He also built a small fire and brewed up some delicious thyme tea, our favourite tea of the trip. When we returned from our hike another lovely member of staff (sorry, forgotten your name!) brought delicious chilled juice to our room, so kind and thoughtful! The decor was fresh, new in a pleasant rustic style. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable with an amazing view from the balcony. The restaurant was very cosy and there is also a lovely terrace to eat outside with those fantastic views. The food was delicious and the breakfast was the best of all we had on our 10 day trip. Nice wine and beer served in restaurant or to your room. Loved the Dades Valley area and Riad Rihana is perfectly located to explore it. Will definitely be staying here again!

Absolutely nothing!

Charming Riad on our way to Merzouga, beautiful combination of Berber design. The room had many nice details. it was spotless and very comfortable for a family of 4. We stayed there for only one night, but honestly we would have liked to stay more nights. The view of the Dades Valley is spectacular, the sky full of stars and the pool would have been great to use but this season it is still a little cold...we hope it to use it the next time. Warm welcome with complimentary Moroccan mint tea, the owner was very nice and helpful, gave us excellent advice and the staff was very friendly. Very cozy restaurant, at the end of dinner they play cheerful Moroccan music and the breakfast was fantastic and sufficient. We would definitely stay there again, Super Recommended!!

Everything is great! From the bedroom - comfy abd cozy, to the rooftop view with a nice pool, to the host and all the staff members! Everyone is amazing and they gave us great tips regarding what to do around the area. They prepared a bday surprise for me, which was super kind and sweet!!! I highly recommend the spot. On top of everything, there is a cute cute puppy if you are into dogs - if not, don’t worry, because they keep it separate from the guests! Location is PERFECT! You are close to all the attractions and can easily move around.

No, all good!

The hotel is located in one of the most spectacular places ever. From our room we had an amazing view on the monkey fingers, part of the gorge du Dades. Dinner and breakfast were both really nice. The swimming pool on the roof top was a plus. The highest score, however, goes to the guided hiking to the gorge that the manager of the hotel helped organise for us. That was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I would for sure recommend this beautiful riad to anyone. Thank you again!

Maybe bathrooms would need a renovation to be as nice as the rooms.

Use this as a stopover from a long drive! The Riyadh is really excellent friendly staff, and good location greet views from the room. The best part really was the talented young musicians, who just came together to entertain all of the guests while we dined. Very friendly staff always smiling and always ready to help.. the receptionist recommended doing a hike with a local tour guide, and I must say that was now a surprise highlight of our visit! Good food overall, really scrumptious breakfast was made available even though we had a very early start. Dinner was good - just ensure to plan ahead.

We loved everything! Lahcen is an excellent communicator. He and his staff were so kind and helpful. Our dinner and breakfast were delicious and generous. The view of the canyon was fantastic. Wish we could have used the rooftop pool, we just didn’t have time. Would love to stay again but for longer. An absolutely gorgeous location and lovely experience.

What a great find. Highly friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure your stay is memorable, nothing is too much trouble. Both breakfasts and evening meals were a joy and our room was huge and clean. This riad is in a perfect location to explore the Dades Valley and, further out, the Todra Gorge. No question, we would happily stay here again.
