This is rated as the best hotel in Kokand for a reason. It's very modern, with plenty of facilities in the north of the city. Kokand is a city that's larger than it looks, but this hotel gives it access to everywhere, and everything can be reached on foot, which is the option I chose! Aziz, the gentleman who checked me in, as well as the staff in the restaurant were amazing. I felt looked after, welcome and very much accepted. There is an outside seating area if you want to eat or drink coffee outside, which is beautiful, whilst sitting inside, the staff are so conversational, curious and warm, and this makes for a very warm experience. The dinner menu is varied, and delicious - but the thing that was best, was the comfort of the room and the beds. I slept in quite a lot here, and the shower and bathroom were great too! I did make a mistake by leaving the charger of my electric toothbrush in the room though! An excursion to Rishton and Margilon was arranged really efficiently and well, as was the transfer to the train station.

In the case of a fire, evacuees on the second floor would have to come through the room to get to the fire escape, were that to become necessary. However, this is not something I believe that can be changed, but that is the only piece of feedback I have.

Clean, quiet and comfortable with a good restaurant and tranquil garden the hotel was a good refuge to relax after sightseeing and travelling. The staff were welcoming, friendly, kind and genuine and always willing to help. It is an easy 10-15 minute walk to the palace and a little more to the atmospheric old town however the facilities made up for the slightly inconvenient location. It was a nice touch to receive a plate of fresh fruit on arrival.

Coffee at breakfast had an additional charge that we were only made aware of when checking out. The staff on reception happily waived the charge when we explained that we were not notified of this when we were offered coffee.

Really enjoyed my stay at Silk Road Hotel Kokand. I liked every thing stating from the rooms to the backyard garden and the lounge at the basement.. and at the top of that STAFF are very welcoming ( reception and the staff at lounge and breakfast area) they gave us a complimentary coffee and green tea.. and they served a warm blanket while we were setting in the garden .. in addition, the breakfast is great and had varieties of Uzbek goodies ..for sure will visit them again

Staff were amazing. They really went out of their way after I checked out but got stuck trying to find a shared taxi to Namangan. They rang around to find out where the correct taxi stand was and then an English speaking member of staff went down with me in a taxi (which they paid for) and negotiated a fair price for me. Really above and beyond the call of duty. I'm very grateful for that. They also upgraded me for free to a junior suite and gave me a complimentary beer when I checked in. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a good selection of items.

WiFi signal was weak at times on second floor No curtains so it got very light inside room at 5am.

Silk Road hotel is a new building with all modern amenities. Our room was big, the bathroom is spacious and there's a good shower. Breakfast is buffet style but could be better with more warm dishes (or at least the possibility to heat up pancakes). The staff is helpful and helped us to arrange a taxi to go to Rishton and Margilan.

I have been around the world and stayed in the best of hotels but I have to say this, I have never ever come across any hotel staff who treat you like a family like the way they did. Kokand being a small town with its own beauty, this hotel is a hidden jewel and just makes you feel at home with its cleanliness and beautiful large rooms. One drawback -no lift and one restaurant. But this is the thing, the team there never ever let us feel anything was missing. I have to mention Nazim, Azzam, mohamed who we have dealt with everyday for past 6 nights were just absolutely amazing. NAZIM WILL JUST MAKE UR DAY WITH HIS AMAZING SMILE! I simply canno get over the fact that such staff exist. To the owners a special note - they are an asset. Simply the best! Regards shaf

Nothing to dislike really....but could do better with the internet speed. Also coffee capsules should be an option to buy since the dolce gusto machines are there in the room

The location is good: you can't get much more central than this. It's within walking distance of the Palace of Khudáyár Khán, and there are some supermarkets and small shops around. The property itself is meticulously clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is quite good. The restaurant is also good outside of breakfast (it serves local foods), and decently priced. There is also a nice, very private outdoor seating area... I was here in winter so it was a bit too cold to take advantage of it, but it would probably be pleasant in the warmer months. WiFi was generally OK: it would occasionally go out, but the staff was nice enough to connect me to one of the other multiple that the hotel has. Additionally, I was here for work and my colleagues gifted me flowers: the staff brought me a vase without being asked, which was very kind and attentive. Front desk staff spoke both English and Russian in addition to Uzbek. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a place to stay in Kokand.

I do wish they'd provide more than one 500ml bottle of water a day, but no serious complaints.

The rooms are huge. The staff was very helpful with organizing trips to other locations in the Fergana Valley. So, I was happy chosing Silk Road Kokand Hotel as basis for several days and discover the Fergana valley from here instead of spending one night in different cities of the valley.

Very big room, excellent amenities (toiletries, personal care, still water, tea/coffee kit, bathrobes and slippers). Bathroom and room extremely clean. Great breakfast, rich and tasty, a mix of continental and local options. Excellent communication with the reception staff. Wi-fi working very well.

This is a fabulous hotel. The rooms are massive, there is a lovely garden and the staff are wonderful. I needed to see a doctor and a member of staff (sorry I didn't get his name) volunteered to come along as an interpreter.
