The motel exceeded our expectations. We were impressed by the wonderful staff. One of the girls behind the desk, Joanna, was particularly cheerful and helpful whenever we saw her. A young lady named Badia was truly amazing.. Always with a smile and a great attitude. If I owned a motel, I would love to clone her three times to run my establishment. I would stay at the Acorn again if I had the opportunity.

This older motel is a real gem in so many ways. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our family suite was renovated and SO CLEAN! Comfortable beds. Very reasonably priced.

It would have been nice for the rooms air conditioning to be turned on before arriving. The room was hot and took a long time to cool down. Continental breakfast was fine but a hard boiled egg, yogurt & banana would have be a bonus.

The rooms where comfrotable and clean...which is the most important detail of the trip.

I would have liked for trivago or expedia apps to have a filter to show whether or not the motel includes continental breakfast because when you are shopping around for choosing a motel I would say this is definitely a factor to reflect pricing. I also could not find anywhere online that stated that continental breakfast is included.

Spacious room, actually got upgraded to a suite. Room was very clean, beds comfortable. Slept really good. Quiet location. Staff was friendly, helpful and extremely polite. Also very accommodating for a pet with a lovely little green space close by. It was a pleasure to stay there. Looking forward to a return visit.

Great location, rooms were really nice, we stayed in a one bedroom that gave us a ton of space. Staff were super friendly and the free continental breakfast was nice as well.

Can’t really think of anything I didn’t like. Maybe the stairs for people with limited mobility? Wasn’t an issue for me.

the staff was very friendly. the rooms were really clean and tidy. no bad smells. the bed was comfy. it was quiet. ive stayed there before probably about 5 years ago and it was nice.. but this stay was much better.

the only thing I didn't like was the pillows. but usually I bring my own anyway.

The ladies at the reception counter and the household staff were great and very helpfull. The room was perfect with an additional table with 2 chairs and an office table and chair. The bathroom was great. Wifi was perfect.

The breakfast area felt very welcoming by the staff and they ensured we take our time even though it was ending which was appreciated by our family of 5 staying at the time.

The pillows were very uncomfortable, resulting in my husband unable to move his neck for days after our visit still. We would definitely bring our own next time.

Friendly staff. Lovely size rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Very good for the price. Good location next to the Coop, a nice gift-shop and the mountains. Accommodated our pets. Would stay again.

We didn’t get a mountain view unfortunately. Pet fee was a bit high, $20 per little dog per night. Breakfast only lasted until 9am on a Saturday.

Everything was excellent. It’s located in the centre of Grande Cache, as everything is. It’s therefore near everything. The room was immaculate, comfortable, large, properly furnished. The value was excellent, as were the staff.

Almost nothing. It’s worth noting that all rooms are up a set of stairs. We had no issues, but mobility challenged guests might have trouble.
